I will start off by saying the WE LOVE CULVER'S! This review is for this specific location in Lake Delton, WI...and it was not good. There were 8 of us and we all ordered together. Not only was one basket completely wrong, but we also did not receive one basket either. Fir the math wiz out there, that is only 75% accuracy...but mistakes happen, and I understand that. The issue started when I went back up to explain that we needed the 2 missing meals and the lady I was talking to was instantly rude and wanted to argue about the basket that we got that was not correct. It is not like it was just missing a condiment and we could just add it. It was missing a pattie and cheese, plus it had condiments on that you can't just wipe off. Not to mention that it and my fries were sitting there getting cold while the lady was trying to start a fight with me. I just wanted my food that I requested and paid for. I asked for the manager to try to get things corrected, AND SHE INFORMED ME THAT SHE WAS THE MANAGER! She then said that she didn't care anymore and yelled to the back to remake incorrect and missing food, but refused to give me new fresh sides for them. I'm her haste and frustration she must not have yelled the right instructions, because both new sandwiches were still incorrect. Not wanting to deal with it any longer, we chose to eat what we were given, and even though it filled our stomachs, they were not "Delicious". We are local to the Dells area and frequent the other Culver's up in the Dells near downtown, and it has been very good. Mr Murphy should be informed of this incident at his Lake Delton Culver's. In the end, it is not that big of deal, just disappointed. Sorry for the length of review, there was just a lot to tell. Have...
Read moreCurder Burger: Culver’s originated in Sauk City, WI back in 1984. When I was a doughy kid in the 90's it had expanded slightly to nearby Wisconsin Dells, where I have fond memories of eating at while on vacation. Today, Culver’s can be found in 26 states serving up their famous Butterburgers and custard. For you non-Cheeseheads, a cheese curd is a moist, squeaky, rubbery piece of curdled milk. That might not sound the most appetizing but trust me they're good. In my home state of WI, many people prefer their cheese curds deep fried, which brings us to the Curder Burger. The Curder Burger features a smash burger patty, crunchy pickles & raw onions, mayo, shredded lettuce, tomato, and a massive deep fried cheese curd patty all on a slightly toasted bun. Opening the container, my initial reactions were anger and disappointment as I thought I was mistakenly given a fried chicken sandwich. It turned out that it was just the massive curd and from a top-down perspective it eclipsed all the other toppings, including the beef patty. There's a line from Star Wars, something about Darth Vader being more machine than man. Well, this burger is more curd than beef. It was so enormous that at first, I had a hard time fitting the burger into my mouth. The cheese curd was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly oozy. Not that there was anything wrong with any of the other ingredients, but the curd was the star of the show. My only complaint is that Culver's has only released it for a limited run the past four years (every October for some reason). Just make it a permanent menu item already! Doughboy...
Read moreCrystal the manager invited me to sit down and talk with the owner, Andy about my complaint, since she feels like she did not have to listen to my feedback about a employee who took my order. She heard part of what happen when I walked in coming from the drive thru. I explained that the person who took my order asked if we wanted cheese or ketchup we said yes but we were not told there was a charge She charged the cheese which is fine I wanted more ketchup The cheese looked not good so I didn't want it I went back in to get more ketchup since we only got two packets (didn't ask for my money back, just more ketchup) I returned the cheese and asked for more ketchup and the employee who took my order got annoyed and gave me a small brown bag with 40 ketchup packets (like if it's a bother and why so many packets???);to me it's rude because in the drive way I changed my drink from a coke to lemonade and she had a tone that it bugged her that I changed my mind on what i want to drink. (Which bugged me because why get upset? This is your job you don't like it find one that you do like. If I get this type of service again I'm returning my food and asking back for my $$$ Andy, your employee and your manager needs a attitude change because they are bringing down your business by seeing the two bad reviews you got in the past two days. I'll put a complaint on the website you're telling people to do so as...
