The carpet was wet and made the place stink terribly. And was WAY overpriced. I supposedly got a “discount” but when I went to pay after traveling all the way up there it was an “11% tax” 🤔.. the landlord said $127/night and if I stayed two nights I’d get a discount so I got two nights and the total after packing up my kids and traveling 2hrs there was just under $300.. everything was supposedly “recently fixed” but it was a total dive and I felt gouged. I’ll never stay there again. Also the owner spent almost 30 mins in the place lingering and scoping us out as tenants while I was trying to unpack and get my children situated.. felt pretty creeped out by him.. he would stop by frequently without notice and park across the road and watch the house for quite some time.. he complained that the other tenants “kids hung on” or “climbed on” everything and that’s why everything was broken or in bad shape..
