We signed up a contract for payments and picked out a fridge the end of last month. They pushed our delivery date out 2 weeks. It was supposed to be here the 18th of this month. I took the day off and made sure someone was here. My fiance called twice to make sure they were coming, they said they were doing deliveries until 8 and they would call when they were a half hour out. At 740 pm he called and they needed to reschedule for the next day. Luckily I was off. I waited around all day and he called them multiple times. They never came again. Then they called him and told him they were ready to take the first payment. He told them that he wasn't paying anything because he had still not recieved the fridge. They said that it was completely unacceptable and they were transferring him to someone who would take care of the situation. That person told him that they had 5 day grace period for deliveries. He has called so many times over the past week. They keep telling him they're going to call back with a date. They have not. He was on hold for an HOUR yesterday waiting to talk to someone. I called today and spoke to someone. They were SO incredibly rude. And I was told the same thing. I called customer service and was told that they could not reach the store associates and that we have the option to cancel. So I explained that we have been waiting for a month and I'm going to call corporate. To which they replied that they do not have a corporate office, number OR email. Im am so disappointed in this companys customer service, employees and delivery service. I cannot express enough to not go here. Do not waste your time or money. Read moreThe service at this furniture store was absolutely amazing! Let me explain...I have been without Livingroom furniture since 3/14/2020. I moved and threw out my old furniture because I was just going to buy furniture that week, but then the pandemic hit and the furniture stores closed. I bought furniture from a well known furniture store on , the loveseat was delivered and the sofa was on backorder and was told it should arrive the next month. I was patient and didn't call the store because i knew they were behind due to Covid. Well 2 months past, then 3 months and i started calling... they kept saying wait two weeks, then wait one more month. I got tired of waiting so after the 4th month, I cancelled the order on 9/25/2020. I went to another well known furniture store on 9/27/20 and was told my furniture was IN STOCK and I would receive my furniture in 3 weeks on 10/17/2020, was given a scheduled delivery date and everything. I called on 10/16/2020, the day before the scheduled delivery and was told they would deliver between 4 to 6pm. I waited all day, didn't leave my home in expectation of the furniture only for no one to arrive! I called the store and was told the furniture is backordered until December and still they couldn't guarantee it would be in stock, I was livid!! I went to American Freight based upon a recommendation from a friend on Oct. 26, 2020 and my furniture was delivered by Ray and Mark who was EXCELLENT and FRIENDLY on Oct. 27, 2020!!! Read moreI came in to pay off my layaway order and was told by Larry that I wouldn’t be getting the couch I had purchased, but that it had been switched to a new couch that was nothing like the one I wanted. After I refused that couch Larry had a poor attitude about the situation and when I asked why I couldn’t get the couch I ordered I was told that layaway doesn’t actually hold the furniture, just the price (even though their website says that couch is still very much available for purchase). The fact that this was never mentioned by anyone, nor does it state that in any of the paperwork I received for the furniture is concerning. I was still willing to get the chair I ordered, so I asked when that could be picked up. Larry replied by telling me “well if you pay it in full you can pick it up tomorrow when we get a delivery in”. I paid the rest of that off and canceled the couch. My husband called around 5pm the next day to be told by Tony that they were not getting a delivery in and that he doesn’t know why we were told that. I ended up having the whole order canceled and going back to the store for the refund. They gave my husband attitude about the refund and said part of it needed to be paid as a check since they “couldn’t give out cash refunds” and I still have not received a check for the $150 they owe me.
