If you love art, fashion, and aesthetics, then this is the event you must schedule your life around. I started really enjoying Miami at my introduction to Art Basel in December 2020. Year after year I fly to lowly southern Florida to fill my desire to be surrounded by inspiration, cleverness, and creativity. Oozing with something for every palette Art Basel fills the convention center. You'll see some characters and they bring their children and pets. This year my youngest son tagged along, it was a lot of walking but he enjoyed himself. Took hundreds of photos and will have this memory for ages to come. I did not get to see any of the art work . We got our tickets on line and the entry DATE 12/04/21 time between 5 pm and 6 pm . Due to the traffic and the parking, we got to the entry at 6:04 pm and we were denied entry. Only a hand full of people were trying to enter. A lot of people were leaving, but still the person at the gate refused to let us in, and sent us to the 2nd floor to see about a refund. We got to the 2nd floor and were only given and email address to request the refund. No where on the tickets did it stat that entry would be denied due to being late.
