Union Park Playground — Attraction in Midvale

Some equipment looked like it had missing covers to hide bolts, and the west parking lot is a little lumpy, but the playground overall is nice, a variety of play things, especially geared toward older kids, probably 4+, but still a slide and a couple swings for toddlers. Pretty good visibility/not too many blind spots. Mature trees. Turf for the ground cover. I noticed picnic tables, pavilions, and restrooms but we didn't use them. Also saw horseshoe pits I think. A couple benches for parents. Nice neighborhood. Paved walkway that goes around the larger park, to which the playground sits...

Really nice playground with lots of stuff to play on for kids of various ages. Love all the trees and the shade with a nice breeze. I also love all the benches positioned around the park for parents to sit at. And the soft foam padding is a great idea so kids don't hurt themselves as badly if they fall. The only thing that I wish was different would be more stuff for very young kids to play on. I've got a 1.5yr old and other than the baby swings and going down the slides on my lap, not much else for him to play on, sadly. But otherwise,...

The playground itself is amazing lots of trees for shade and good slides and swings but I started taking my daughter Herr beginning of this summer and it was so so clean and now since atleast 2 months it is so dirty there r chips packets and empty bottles of juice thrown in there also some new graffiti os drawn on the slides and the stepping things which is very bad and overall the maintenance is 0 of this place.
