You’d be surprised how much drama you can avoid by simply having a sign saying no colored folks allowed. The Asian (property manager) woman literally just singled me out and reported me for charging my phone when other people are doing the same thing if not worse . The way this young lady attempted to speak to me , I can tell she’s a product of privilege. They always try and scare you by taking your picture and criminalize your actions and calling the cops . Meanwhile she never said what I did was a problem, it was never a problem before, cultural sensitivity goes a long way , she clearly had a problem with a black man charging his phone , I made her uncomfortable and all I did what I do every day before I start my shift. It would’ve felt better if she was just Been a little more professional about the matter. I tried my best to apology but she had a nasty stink attitude from the moment she noticed me . I apologize for being a black man , it wasn’t my choice. There are homeless Asian people literally sleeping in that Mall , but she chose to single me out for charging my phone . When prejudice is that blatant all you can do is laugh it off . These situations used to hurt my feelings , but I realized you being a Racist is your problem not mine. She took my picture so she could make me out to e someone I’m not . That was just cynical, for the sake of that investment I hope the owners realize that flushing is a Diverse community not a Asian community. This behavior isn’t the way Queens is supposed to be. Shame on you the way you tried shame me for doing absolutely nothing wrong 🤦🏿🙄. I just wish would’ve just said no colored folks allowed because that would’ve been more respectable , and I would’ve left wit o confrontation.
Replying to the Owners Response on 12/30/2024 :
First and foremost I Was a sociology major so I 100 % knew you'd only mention the things that would protect that Racist Women . Less than 5 minutes after that racist experience the Hispanic Gentleman that I see and great every morning in that same spot where I charge my phone told me to leave and come back in a few days when this misunderstanding blows over .
When the Racist Women approached me about charging my phone I was actually in shock and asked several times " Did i do something wrong and rather than speaking to me like an adult she chose to take my picture and attempted criminalize my actions . The only witness was the women she called after I called her a " Karen Several times" . You never mentioned that you saw me walk out peacefully after I was asked to by the Hispanic Gentleman I mention .
When I came back I sincerely thought it was over but the Racist Asian women called the cops and when the cops approached me , I told them what I'm going to tell you right now . I don't live a life where I have to be escorted out by Law enforcement . The officers respected my wishes and I walked out peacefully as I did the first time. The racist Asian Women was actually upset that the officers didn't escort me out like a criminal she assumed I was based on my Race and Gender . I've been working in Flushing for 12 years now so I understand how racist it can get , but I don't hold every Asian to that like that Racist Asian Women tried to do to me. With that being said I Added a picture of a book that I sincerely believe would help that racist Asian women understand how offensive she was towards me Based on my Race and Gender . I only got upset when she took my picture and tried to create a false narrative . As i said in the initial Review , Just put No Black people allowed , and these kind of Misunderstandings would never happen . o wait that's illegal in America .. SMH , I hope and pray that Racist Asian Women can learn from this because Flushing isn't just an Asian Community it's a Diverse Community as it has...

I had a horrible experience here today which left me mystified. Not only did I feel that the women working here were predjudice (they were following me around while I was looking for nails… and watching whenever I picked anything up… but they didn’t do that for anyone else and I felt very uncomfortable), they were very unprofessional and were not open about what services they provide. So, the first woman told me that if I bought 2 nails (25$ each), they would provide the service of being put on. I’ve had these nails done before at impress on nails at queens center mall so I know what works for me and what doesn’t. The woman waited until I paid the money, and then the other woman came over with food for both the workers. The woman doing my nails said something in their language and then both rolled their eyes. The woman doing my nails started putting the press on stickers on my nails rather than the glue, I told her I would rather the glue because I know what works for me. She then walked over to her coworker, and the other woman tried to convince me to do the sticky press stickers ons since they only last a week and I can re-use the nails and the glue would make the nails last 2 weeks or longer. I proceeded to tell her I was a nurse so I wash my hands pretty often and that the glue would be better for me. She then told me that the glue would damage my nail beds (so why would you offer this?), I told her again that I was a nurse and I have had press ons done before and that I knew what worked for me. Then she proceeded to tell me that her and the other woman didn’t know how to do glued press ons and only their boss did. I said okay, and can I just get a refund for the other nails I bought because I bought 2 due to the fact that I would get the service done. Then they proceeded to tell me that they don’t do refunds. Absolutely ridiculous. Then, I asked for the bottle of nail glue so I can do it at home…. (and they told me it was $12….)
Don’t go here. Overall horrible experience.
DO NOT GO HERE.
Even at Skyview mall they have press on nails, same price, they let you try it on and they are KIND. otherwise :
Go to queens center mall for press ons and not this place. Second floor next to Starbucks. They do it very well, while pushing back your cuticles - with glue. They let you try the nails on without following you and if you want to buy them - they send you home with a bottle of glue and tell you if you can’t figure it out then you can come back and do it for free :) also they give you a discount if you buy two of them. And even if you only buy one, they’ll do the service for you.
DO NOT GO HERE
Skyview or Queens Center Mall are...
Read moreDuring the new grand opening at Tangram mall pop mart store. When I was waiting to enter the line, I got pushed by a group of men, when I defended myself. They only made video of me when I defended myself and pushed them away from me. They were cutting line and harassed me the whole night. In this morning those men who pushed show my video to the district manager - Marcus. The district manager Marcus took that group of men’s words. The manager kicked me out of the line after I waited 10 hours in the below temperature street. It wasn’t fair they pushed me first they should get kick out of line as well. He said that’s his decision, and I was forced to leave the line and after over 10 hours of wait I got nothing. It’s really unfair, those a friends with most of the employees and even managers. Even though I have a video that showed those men approached me first and I just wanted them to get away from me. The manager said he didn’t care now, because he made his decision and he has the power. He also threaten to call police on me if I don’t leave the line. This is the worst experience that I ever had for being a loyal customer to pop mart. I really hope to file a lawsuit against that district manager Marcus and Pop Mart.
I had already filed a complaint to New York State Division of Human Rights against the District Manager named Marcus and Pop Mart Company for discrimination against me, which caused me physical and psychological trauma on 12/07/2024. I will continue to contact different news channels regarding the harm that pop mart and the Authority caused me including allowing videos related to me spreading on social media without my consent. Also included Cyber bullying caused by people that made the video and pushed me during the event. Uncountable Psychological trauma and stress caused by the District Manager named Marcus from Pop Mart. I will not stop filing a complaint or Civil lawsuit until I receive a formal apology and reasonable accommodation.
I hope someone can help me to find justice, I had also told that manager that I am diabetic and I hadn't drink any water or eat anything for over 10 hours and waited in a extreme cold weather on the street. He said too bad I made my decision you need to go back to the end of the line which at that time 200 people were in front of me. If I didn't leave he will call police on me he said. But the fact was I did nothing wrong, a group of men tried to cut in front of me and pushed me first, I was defended...
