The pictures they put on site is the one room they had updated from hotel impossible. I challenge feel them to put up pictures of other rooms. Ask to see room you will be getting before signing. Management is hard to get hold of. At other property sign up alot at office, call number and leave message,and maybe get call back within couple of hours. Items in room just stacked around. TV barely on dresser. Cords from tv, ac, erx plugged into old power surge protector. Ants were everywhere. Window in bathroom would not close fully. Room they say for 3 people, only if one person stays on bed, other person can walk around. They allow college age kids to smoke and drink at all times. They take chairs outside room to where they are, which was better than them sitting in them outside my room as they yell and party all night. Dont bother to make complaint, waste of phone call as no answer. They do say limited parking, but guess what. Others double park and trap you end. Needed to leave early, at 930. Normally hotels would love this. Had car blocking mine, call management and was told it was rather early and did I really need to leave now. Yes, had appt needed to be at in afternoon and live in DE. Called office around 9, they finally came to motel 45 minutes later, and found truck owner and moved truck. Pool, can see tons of chemicals sitting around, but pool was off green and very cloudy. Not sure if they use too much chemicals, as getting close burn eyes, or just not at all. Could not say water was dirty, as it was so foggy could not see bottom. Now this was only overnight trip, but paid 220 a night for this room. I beg people, not to go here, no matter how much you want to be at Wildwood. Just because close to boardwalk is not good enough. Spend more at others, just for cleanliness. It stay further away, and just pay for parking near boardwalk. The owners have had years to improve this place, but is obvious dont care. Unless a college kid and want to get away with smoking weed and drinking all night, then stay away. There is not one positive thing about this place, and they should be ashamed of the money they rob...
Read moreThe experience was okay at first, we were satisfied with the rooms, the cleanliness of the floors were questionable but we were fine with it. The first night was great, but by the next morning/ afternoon, we noticed a leak in the ceiling in the kitchen. We also noticed an abundance of teenagers in the hotel, and by abundance I mean at least 100 teens flocking into each hotel room, listening to music extremely loudly, but once again we didn’t say much on it. By the evening, it was terrible, the leak on the ceiling worsened, teenagers (who were also underage drinking) jumping around, being loud, and causing a commotion. We eventually told staff on guard about the situation, and all they did at first was offer us towels and their apologies. At this point, we were infuriated and went straight to the manager’s office and asked for their number, and the lady at the front desk (her name was possibly “Kate”) gave us their supposed number. We called, and turns out, it was actually “Kate”, so there was really no point in giving us a number if it was going just going to be the front desk lady picking it up.😑When we went back to the front desk to request to speak to Alex, the actual manager of the motel, and negotiate on a full refund for the night, but they said the could only give us a partial refund for one night, or be offered 75% of the money back JUST FOR ONE NIGHT, but we would be forced to leave. We were shocked, and had to stay at the hotel because we had no where else to go (We didn’t even live in the area and were here for vacation). Overall it was a terrible and awful experience, we DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! Read moreRooms are in horrible condition and very awful customer service. Stayed there for 1 night and an hour into being there we seen a mouse run across the floor. We told the front desk and she gave us a new room which was good but the new room was even worse. as soon as walked in their were gnats and flies all around. We seen so much mold in the kitchen cabinet just covered up with A TOWEL. Also under the seats. My mom has emphysema and COPD and should not be breathing in mold, let alone anyone else. The tub was clearly not even wiped down because their was a bunch of hair in it and the bathroom had a strong scent of urine that lured out into the whole room, we kept the door shut and didn't even shower. The window didn't lock and they said they would fix it, we came back and it was fixed with a screw that fell right out when I went to make sure it was secure. Their was a piece of floor that came up from in the bedroom and looked like an underground tunnel when I pulled it up, it was completely exposed with nothing even on top and just felt so unsafe so I put a table there for the night. When listing all of these problems that completely ruined our stay and our comfort, the lady told us that we should not have moved or looked at anything and we shouldn’t have looked in the cabinets then told us not to come back to their hotel.
