Marriott’s Springhill Suites Orlando Airport hotel is the perfect spot for a quick overnight stay before your cruise if you plan to stay in Orlando rather than Cocoa Beach area. #marriott #springhillsuites #springhillsuitesorlando #cruise #cruiselife #precruisehotel #cruisetips

Just Okay. Uncomfortable beds, broken elevator buttons, spray painted lamps, missing carpet and $17/night parking. SpringHill Suites is a great brand, but I can’t recommend this specific location. Here’s why: The Positives 👍 • Friendly Staff: Everyone was welcoming and kind! • Amenities: Pool, fitness center, and a convenient airport shuttle 🚐. • Complimentary Breakfast 🍳: A nice selection, plus 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby ☕. • AC/Heat: Both worked well, and the room stayed comfortably cold at night ❄️. The Negatives 👎 • Older Hotel: Partially remodeled but showing its age. • Elevator Issues: The right elevator had broken buttons (sharp enough to hurt!) ⚠️ and the left elevator bounced noticeably upon exit (and no, I’m not heavy). • Rooms Are Meh: The rooms don’t match the photos on the Marriott site. The carpet is gone, replaced with fake wood flooring (not a fan) 🚪. The pullout couch was dirty & stained🛋️. • Uncomfortable Beds: The bed was below Marriott standards – hard and not pleasant to sleep on 🛏️. Pillows were good, though (3 down feather + 1 foam). Clean linens. • Spray painted Lamps: For some reason the hotel spray-painted the West Elm lamps gold (poorly). (The brand standard is a shiny gold metallic not spray paint). • Odd Outlets: Some outlets were installed upside down. Not unsafe, but it speaks to sloppy craftsmanship 🔌. Other Notes • Bathroom Layout: Typical older SpringHill design, with the toilet and shower in one room and the sink outside in view of the bed 🚿. • Parking Fee: $17 per night – seems excessive for this hotel 🅿️. Final Verdict At best, this SpringHill Suites is average. If you’re catching a flight or staying for just a night or two, it’s manageable, but I’d skip it next time. The staff and amenities are great, but the rooms need a serious renovation. For $17 parking, I expected better. Would I stay here again? Probably not. 😕

Overall I had a good experience. Due to lack of communication it could have been rated great with 5 stars. I booked this room to celebrate a promotion at work with my wife and I. The room was clean and my check-in was great. However before I checked out my wife was downstairs to get some coffee and to see what options were available for breakfast. She was approaching the coffee when a staff member removed the coffee and said that she was putting the coffee up. My wife then drove across the street to Wawa to get us some coffee. When she returned she noticed that other guest was getting coffee. She asked the front desk rep why was the coffee removed no more than 15 minutes earlier. The rep said that she was waiting for help. If the rep would have just explained this to my wife she would have waited. To be honest, being a previous Marriott employee the rep should have allowed my wife to get coffee then put it up afterwards or even explained that she would return it when help arrived. This is something that is considered small but when your looking to be considered the best the small details matter. Let's do a better job next time staff. I would still recommend this location however I would not recommend their coffee, just kidding.

BEWARE!!!! Horrible hotel! FYI, THIS IS A TITANIUM reservation It is old, dingy, musty and moldy to say the least. Short staffed and horrible management. I'm not kidding please heed my advice...You'll thank me later.....

We had two reservations. One for 5 nights & the other for 2. 1st room. Checked in & after we got up to our room, cleaned, sanitized it, were all settled, the Heater didn't work. The unit kept blowing cold air even when off. The "maintenance guy" came up about 9:00 pm & reset the unit & it still wasn't working. We unfortunately had to move rooms. You have no idea what a hassle it was. We moved rooms and had to clean and get settled again. Now, the current room we moved to still blows cold air and now NO hot water. Luke warm at best. The runner came back up and said something was wrong with 1 of the boilers. The air conditioner, it was still blowing so he put it in off mode but yet, still blowing. We put blankets, pillows and duvet on the unit to try and slow the blowing. Friday Annabell spoke to us and seemed at first to understand but offer no compensation. It just got worse and Annabell was kept abreast the entire weekend but nothing was ever done about.

Judy, who was amazing, blocked the second room for me Oxsna, the General Manager was off for the weekend. I had to leave at 4:30 am Saturday to fly back to OC CA for the day. While I was waiting for my return flt to MCO I called the hotel at 12:55 am & asked if I could check in when I arrived @ 6:30. After being on hold w/ Celine she did come back & say yes I could check in at 6:30 am I called for a shuttle at 6:15 am, 6:35 and showed up at 6:45am. I was anxious to check in to our second room & to sleep after being up for now 26 hours. Celine, whom I spoke to at 12:55 am now apparently has an attitude. It took her an hour to check us in. She took my cc several times, this is exactly what I tried to avoid. She gave us keys, we went upstairs & the key didn't work. We went downstairs and told Celine the key didn't work and she said "what do you mean the key doesn't work"? I said exactly. She called, texted someone and kept going in the back room. She came out and said we needed to wait 10 more minutes for her relief to get there. Galina, the relief came in mad! I had seen her the day I originally arrived and she was fine. She looked at the reservation and yelled at Celine and said YOU SHARED THE ROOM. The room was given to someone else. Galina said she couldn't find our reservation & had to book a new room. The funny thing is Judy blocked a room for us Friday night with a reservation and Celine checked us in or how did we get a key? Now after waiting an 1 1/2 hours, approx 8:20 am I texted my mom and asked if she was up. She responded and I told her we were coming to her room. At 9:45 am I went to the front desk and asked If I had a room yet, She said no. We left and I came back at 2:00 pm, She still said no room. I kept telling her we just need a room. 2:00 pm I said I'll take any room. She said I only have a King room and I said Ok i'll take it and move when my reservation for two beds was available. She said YOU WILL NOT MOVE ROOMS. WE ARE SHORT STAFFED AND IF YOU TAKE THIS ROOM I WILL MAKE NOTE IN YOUR RESERVATION THAT YOU ARE NOT TO MOVE ROOMS. I was so tired I said ok...... She failed to tell us it was a connecting room. Well starting at 8:30 pm ish our neighbors were fighting, screaming and yelling until 2:30 am. We called 1/2 dozen times for security but all we heard was the phone ring after I hung up and it continued all night. I Left Tuesday am, spoke to Oksana very briefly & told her I would call her the next day. I called Wednesday & Oksana was another call. I told Judy how wonderful she was & what a disaster my trip was after she left Friday. I asked if I could get a district manager's phone number she said no problem, Annabell picked up the phone, said I was using profanity, NOT TRUE, I was no longer welcome to the property, she was blocking me and hung up. She is 100 percent lying! I would never...

Just Okay. Uncomfortable beds, broken elevator buttons, spray painted lamps, missing carpet and $17/night parking.

SpringHill Suites is a great brand, but I can’t recommend this specific location. Here’s why:

The Positives 👍 • Friendly Staff: Everyone was welcoming and kind!

Final Verdict

At best, this SpringHill Suites is average. If you’re catching a flight or staying for just a night or two, it’s manageable, but I’d skip it next time. The staff and amenities are great, but the rooms need a serious renovation. For $17 parking, I expected better.

Would I stay here again?...
