It seemed great at first. Then I got to my room and tried to sleep. The “constant fan” option didn’t work. The hallway was noisy so without a fan to drown it out, there was no hope of sleeping. So I turned the air down to keep the fan going, was freezing because the blankets were tiny and hard to pull up, then the fan turned off anyway. So I turned on the heat. Etc. I booked the room for an early flight, and got absolutely no sleep - would have been better off staying at home. The curtains also didn’t close enough and there was a light out the window, and the room stayed lit up like the Fourth of July. The shower this morning still had brown residue from the last guest missed by the cleaners - gross. Then, as I’m leaving my room at 5 am, I press the elevator button and it doesn’t work. No sign, nothing. I drag my three bags down 4 flights of stairs. The guy at the front desk is very nice, but there should have been signs put up if the elevators were out of service. It is also a major inconvenience. I would appreciate being compensated accordingly for this inconvenience. Thanks!

The room was clean, smelled clean. The personal cleaning products had a really pleasant smell. Staff was very friendly. Free breakfast and WiFi. They also leave a cute little towel design on your bed. Never did check the pool. Only complaint was the water pressure was ehh at best. Everything is very close by. Within walking distance! Overall everything was great and would definitely stay again!

We rented a room here just for a day as a place to leave our luggage before flying from Orlando to Gatwick. The days rental of the room cost us 80 US dollars, which is 40 dollars cheaper than luggage storage, and we also had full access to all of the hotel facilities, including the swimming pool. The service was easy to use and the staff in the hotel were good.

We are going on a cruise to the Caribbean, so we had to fly out from California to Florida in order to get on the cruise ship. We flew out on August 1st, but we needed a place to sleep for the night, since our ship was leaving the next day. First off, I should start by saying this for service. They told us that they were going to provide a free shuttle from the airport to our hotel, but after multiple times of my mom calling, they not only took 30 minutes to get a real person on the line, but when they finally did get a person, they said, "Sorry we can't provide a shuttle." So we had to take a Lyft to our hotel room. Once we got to our hotel, we talked to the lady at the front desk, and her excuse was, "Sorry we were very busy when you called," even though there was like one other person in the room and we only called like 20 minutes before that. They still should have been able to provide the shuttle because I know that we're not the only ones who flew out to catch our boat. We were told, since there was 3 people with us, so that everyone would get their own bed, that there was a sofa bed in the room. We were expecting that it was a pullout one, but it was actually literally just a couch. I was the one who was sleeping on it and I can say that it is not very comfortable but I guess most hotels usually don't offer comfort. Our bathroom door handle hardly works. You should put some WD-40 on that thing because it is very tough to open. I would like to discuss a couple issues with the shower. The first thing that was wrong with it, is that the thing that's supposed to hold the shower head up is very rickety and doesn't hold it in place well. The water pressure is also extremely low, and makes it difficult to shower with. This is the last critical thing I would like I talk about. I'm not sure if this is a universal characteristic about hotels, but I feel like the pillows look really comfortable, but when you lay your head on it, it sinks down. Not in good way where you're sinking into it, but the pillows decompress and it becomes a flat rock for your head to lay on. When it comes to sleep, I feel like the (second) most important part is a good pillow. Above a mattress (actually the most important), a soft blanket, comfortable sheets. But since I already had a not-so-good sofa "bed" to sleep on, a good pillow became priority. I tried creating my own pillow by using my blanket, but that wasn't very comfortable either. I don't want to sound super critical of this hotel, but I think there are some things to be worked on. It might be a cheaper hotel, but I think if you want to stand out from the rest and be cheap and good quality, you could improve some services and parts of the room. Our room was 411,...

I attempted to stay here August 21st, 2024. It was later in the night, when I walked in the woman at the front had just finished checking a guest in. My 3 year old and I walked up to check in and the first thing I had asked was “do yall by chance take Apple Pay? My son threw my cards out the window unfortunately” the lady responded with “no” so I looked around and sighed and expressed a little of the reasoning me and my 3 year old were there for and the lady responded with an apology so I asked her if there was a way to just cancel the reservation and not be charged the full amount and she said she would cancel it and not charge me for it.. She reassured me I wouldn’t be charged for it & still at 2:55 am I got charged $240.60 for a room I was unable to check into… so I called the next day and spoke to a woman who said she was a manager her name is Addie/Addy When I explained what happened she then started to ask for a description of the woman in which I responded “I had been up for almost 2 days that all I remember was she was Spanish” then asked me the time I came in and I honestly was unsure of the time I came in so I gave her any time and she started to professionally call me a lair. I did mention she could check the cameras and at first she wasn’t interested but then started to say that they would in fact do that and I expressed I’d dispute it due to being lied to in which she responded “you can do that and I will make sure to get in contact with the bank to make sure that charge does not get disputed”

I’m not sure why the lady was so rude to me but I DO work at a Marriott and I KNOW that’s NOT how you treat ANYONE especially working as a manager!!! So I called again today (8/23) and asked to speak to the general manager and was transferred to her in which she claimed to now be the assistant Gm….. I asked to speak with her manager and she told me no that there was no one there but her due to the Gm running 2 hotels… I asked for the Gm email and the email she gave me was invalid. I made sure to record this whole phone call due to how she was so rude to me on Wednesday. I am a single mom of the 3 kids and that particular night I was running from a domestic issue in which even the worker has asked if I was okay due to the bruising and scratches I have on my neck.

This woman (Addy) is extremely rude and I would not want a woman with no sentiment towards others being someone you speak with when there is an issue. I’m hoping and praying that this gets resolved and FAST. I don’t want to have to take legal action but with how addy was it is looking like I won’t be able to speak to her manager unless I...

The Worst Marriott service I’ve ever received The hotel itself is nice but the service I received was very horrible. I am a titanium elite member that was treated like my status didn’t matter now mind you I did Book this room under an explorer rate which was presented at the time of check-in now, at the time of check in the Internet connection was now I usually email my explorer form to the hotel, which is no problem now, this night the Internet was down. I have proof that I sent the email twice I went to the business center to try to print the form, there was still no service. The printer was down, but I was checked in anyway the employees said don’t worry about it. We’ll take care of it, when I checked out I found that I was overcharged and my rate wasn’t honored so is it my fault that the hotel had Internet problems because I should have never been checked in without the presentation of the form so now I’m overcharged and the general manager it’s not doing anything about it? She doesn’t want to do anything about it. I opened the case And she closed it without compassion or compensation ! I also encountered a very rude associate her name is Krystal “With a K” as she stated to me on our phone conversation was very rude to me she told me that I’m a grown man and it’s my responsibility to present the form RUDE !!! and after being told about her actions, nothing was done so she just gets to talk to people as if they’re nobody. I called the Marriott hotline and opened up a case nothing was done. The hotel didn’t offer me any kind of courtesy for the inconvenience or anything customer service at this hotel was the worst I’ve ever received , you should definitely go stay at the Fairfield Inn Lake Buena Vista South Vineland the staff there is very knowledgeable Second to none customer service asked to speak to Brianna or Veronica they will take great care of Unlike this hotel, they’re compassionate and very aware of your needs and wants Very...
