Our room, even as Hilton Diamond Members, was over $200 both nights we stayed, and I think the first night was a weekday but the second was on a Friday, so why the rates were still so high on a Thursday, I will have yet to figure out. It was the cheapest hotel near the Orlando airport though, and when you're booking last minute, I guess you have to take what you can get. They do have a ton of restaurants, bars, gift shops, shopping, shuttle service to the airport, free parking without a gate, a pretty small and unmemorable pool, and if you are traveling, it is very close to the airport. They have a 24/7 little gift shop in the lobby which is totally overpriced if you are paying with cash our card, I would recommend walking across the street to the liquor store or gift store for snacks and such. However if you are a Hilton member, you already know that you can get up to $20 inside their gift shop rather than the free breakfast. I would recommend doing this at this particular location because both my girlfriend and I got food poisoning from The breakfast on the first day and therefore did not return to try it the second day. They also would not let us just check in with the digital key we had to go up to the desk but the lady working was very friendly and I'm glad we had a chance to talk to her. Other than that the trip was pretty unmemorable in itself. It's probably going to be your cheapest option in that area but I guess it's worth it if you want restaurants and bars in walking distance.

One night stay for early appointment in the Lake Nona area made this property a convenient choice at the last minute. Important to note that the sound from the airport jets is non-existent. You can hear the planes clearly while in the parking area but once you go into your room it's peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and had a decent view. But next time based on the smaller size of the room we will book the Hampton Inn & Suites close by since this was a test run. We saw three staff members walking around the hallways with their masks down their neck which means they are relaxed and not enforcing strictly among their employees. The $50 deposit based on having the booking via third party - Orbitz- didn't make sense. We are seasoned travelers and always book through travel sites but credit cards are just used at the front desk for incidentals. Requested a late check out and it was given with gusto but we ended being ready before that. No breakfast currently but we already knew from online reviews- not beforehand thru the website. They need to update the information for the benefit of guests who might not take the time to scroll for reviews before making a decision. Good stay overall.

Very disappointed in this service. We called on Friday to ask if early check in would be available after our cruise returned to port on Sunday. We were told that it would depend on if a room was available, but nothing could be done until the morning of. We arrived and were told it would be an hour. After 2 hours and 2 groups being placed, we were told that those groups had checked in two night ago. Excuse me?!?! We were told that we could not do anything until this morning. So, we are still waiting in the lobby with our luggage with no idea how long it will truly be. Horrible communication.

We stayed here for a single night with my family(wife+2kids), before heading out to Port Everglades cruise port. It was pleasant and neat stay like any typical overnight stays that we have done before. We drove in to this hotel late in the night after renting a car from the airport. The beds & pillows were comfortable and front desk lady who checked us in was also cheerful. We do get a parking pass to keep it in the dashboard of your car, make sure you get one while checking in if you have a car.The morning breakfast was tasty as well as plenty, but was only between 6-9am as it was a friday morning. |But what is stood out in this stay is that the manager who was near the breakfast dining area. She was extremely courteous, helpful and was making sure that whomsoever walked in near closing time (including us as we walked with 15mins before closing) got their breakfast, also closing the breakfast entry on time. The cheese egg omelette was so tasty that it was almost empty all the time, so some of us who walked in late had to request that those omelettes to be made, which this manager did courteously delivered it by co-ordinating with the cook from inside. Normally when we are walking in late to most of these hotels/breakfast places we wouldn't even see any manager other than coming to close the gate, here she was different and made us feel pleasant. As they say "one will never forget how you made them feel" it was true with this lady manager who made us feel pleasant and respected. Infact this was the feedback coming from my kids(

After we missed a return flight after our cruise due to 528 from the port to the airport being closed (accident) we found ourselves needing a place to stay while we waited for our flight the next day which was rebooked. Out of all the Hilton Brand hotels (were Diamond members) close to MCO, the Hampton had the best price. It is also walking distance to several restaurants such as Denny’s, Sonny’s BBQ, Bar Louie, Chili’s and more.

We arrived at the hotel around 11:00am hoping a room would be available since we had nowhere else to go…: but prepared to hang out if not. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful and got us into a room right away. Considering we had two kids with us, this was a sanity saver!!

The room was a standard two-queen but was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. I was especially grateful for the pillows! A lot of Hilton brands use the feather/down pillows that flatten immediately and are very uncomfortable. I was so happy to find that this Hampton had much more comfortable pillows that actually support your head!

Breakfast the next morning was the standard Hampton breakfast. Nothing remarkable but also completely adequate for our needs. Plenty of options. And the kitchen area was clean.

The best part was the free shuttle. The woman at the desk asked us if we needed a ride and asked us what time we wanted to leave. Considering we had no vehicle and already had an unexpected expense of a night in a hotel, not having to pay for yet another Lyft was great! And sure enough, the next morning the shuttle arrived on time and we were at the airport in no time.

Should we ever need an overnight stay after arriving to or departing from Orlando, we will definitely choose...
