Read moreThis place had everything we needed and generally is a great stay if you’re on a budget and don’t want to stay at one of the hotel chains. ||Pros: super clean, easy to find, sits right behind Big John’s BBQ which is a must visit in Page! ||Cons: the beds were SO firm. Probably the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on. We didn’t sleep amazingly because of this and the pillows were so hard too. ||Though the place was safe, we did feel a little nervous about the fact that the room is simply accessed by a code, and has no deadbolt or inner lock. As two female travellers we did feel slightly nervous (particularly because there are no staff on site except at check in) and this could easily be fixed with an inner deadbolt as I’m sure they don’t reset the codes after every guest ||All in all a decent stay, but just a couple of things that could...
Read moreI stayed with a friend at the Lake Powell Motel in late May, my first time at this motel. I'd decided on making a reservation there based on it being a small family-owned property with a convenient location. The small motel consists of two parallel one-story wings with a parking area in between. Our room there was actually a large suite - I believe some are rented out for longer-term stays. There was a full kitchen (with cookware and utensils) and dining area, a good-sized living room with sofas and a huge TV, and my friend and I each had a separate bedroom. The A/C worked very well, and the wi-fi was excellent. Check-in was friendly and quick, everything was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. I was very happy with my stay at th Lake Powell Motel and will look to stay there again the next time...
