Here you will find a small museum with a handful of rooms which cover several areas of interest. The Colorado River history details reports of early expeditions and pioneer discovery of the region by way of river based trips. This was quite interesting.
We also enjoyed the small section on the history of Page, Arizona. You will learn a bit about the town's founding, the dam project and see pictures from the early days of this community. There are further displays covering human history, geology and paleontology for this region of Arizona, which round out your visit to the Powell Museum.
