This was terrible. Non-smoking rooms, but the first room I went into was so bad it burned my eyes within a few minutes. I asked for a different room and it had the smell of old smoke, but it wasn't quite as bad. Cigarette burns on the linens, and the general feel of not being clean. First thing we did is wash the linens at $4 per load and run to the store for disinfectant and air freshener. The room is 20x10, and that includes the bathroom and "kitchenette". They could have managed to put a table and a couple chairs, but they didn't. Even a folding table and a couple folding chairs would have been OK, but it was either sit on the bed or on the floor. The brown painted walls were pealing to show the older white paint underneath. It's a terrible color for a poorly lit room, and it was a bad paint job. It looked as if they didn't clean the walls before they painted. I could see light through the crack around the door. That wasn't a huge issue, but it felt uncomfortable to be in a room that wasn't properly sealed. There were holes throughout the walls that were not properly repaired. Where they patched, they did not repaint. They advertised a microwave and coffee maker for the room, and the pictures made it look like there is a kitchenette there. Not the case. There is a mini-fridge in the middle of the space where the sink is (also where the closet bar is, no hangers). We asked for a microwave and they brought us one, but never did get the coffee maker. There is a TV hanging on the wall with cords hanging loosely everywhere. The remote control for it didn't work very well. It had a number taped tot he back that looked like a room number, and it wasn't ours. The sink was disgusting. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken. The AC was extremely noisy and brought more of that old smoke smell into the room. The pool was closed for the season when we got there. Nothing on the website said it would be closed. It was filled with garbage and muddy water. The entire length of the pool area is about 6 car stalls, but the pool is about 2/3 of that. I thought for a $200 per night room it would meet the minimum standards of quality. But it is obvious the owners/managers of this place don't care about it at all. The people I talked to were polite and professional. They didn't go out of their way, but they weren't rude about it to me. The best thing about the place is the ceramic tile. It looks like it was professionally done, which makes it easier to keep clean... too bad they don't keep it clean. This is a place with a lot of potential if someone cared about it... but I wouldn't pay to stay here again.

The location was nice and the cost was decent for the area. I didn’t venture out at all as I was only passing through for the evening and thought I’d check out Las Vegas. The staff was friendly. One gentleman tried to explain to me about taking the bridge over to the strip- but I was tired after traveling and didn’t feel like venturing out. The hotel room doors are outside accessible. The two rooms I entered had gaps between the door frame and the door. People were outside my room talking, and I could hear them clear as day. Which means- they can also hear me. I should have thought to double-check this when booking, but I didn’t. (Video shared of ppl talking outside of my room). I’m not a fan of outside rooms as you never know who may be waiting there when you go to exit and there appread to be a few questionable visitors around. I always try to book hotels with inside rooms for safety and security purposes. I’m sure some $5 weathering stripping around the doors would solve the issue with the noise but it doesn’t appear that the owner cares much about upkeep. The room was clean. There were not any outlets near the bed to plug in your phone. The laundry room was out of service. I called to order an in-room massage (from an outside company) the morning I was leaving but I had to cancel the massage because the bathtub leaked all over the floor and some of my belongings. I called to report this and nobody ever showed up to sop up the water; leaving me to step over a huge puddles all morning until checkout. I reached out to the email provided to share this information and never heard back from anybody.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. The heater would only blow hot air for 5-10 min then the heat would shut off but it would continue to blow cold air. There was a large space in the door when shut and all the warm air we did manage to get would escape quickly. We ended up hanging the sheet from the bed from the top lock of the door to block the crack and keep some of the heat from escaping. We slept fully clothed, shoes too, every night to stay warm. We would've found another place but there was a boxing match that same weekend and everywhere was either booked or $300+ per night. The wifi kept disconnecting, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, the bed was supposed to be a king and it was only a queen - it was also very uncomfortable and the bedding was thin. The usable outlets were in a weird part of the wall 5ft up no where near a table or the ground so we ended up moving the new mini fridge and the new microwave (that weren't working when we got there) from out of the bathroom and into the main room near the outlet so we had something to put our phones on while charging. The knob on the one working lamp in the room was broken, difficult and painful on my fingers to use. Both times we came back from breakfast our room key stopped working even though I kept it away from my phone, as direxted by the front desk staff. They were quick to reactivate it both times with no issue. Won't be back.

Dont let the one star fool you, - 5 was not a valid choice. This place was horrible. I was traveling through Las Vegas on a holiday weekend and there was nothing available all throughout Nevada. this was the only hotel with a room available, and you will see why in a minute. My wife and I with our twin 5 year old daughters arrived at the hotel about 1:45 AM. As soon as we pulled into the hotel there were shady characters walking around the hotel. I walked in to the lobby to check in and there was a guy in the lobby on the hotel phone ordering prostitutes for him and his buddies. I know this because 10 minutes later a car pulled up out front and a lady got out and exchanged some words with the two guys "do you have the beer and the money?" then the two guys got in the car with 3 woman. Next I checked in and went to check out the room which was supposed to be Non Smoking. well as soon as I got out of the car there was one stairwell leading up to our room and there was a guys passed out on the stairs. so I got security to remove the drunk guy from the stairs. I then entered the room and the smell of smoke and body odor hit me. then as you walk into the room it smelled like someone just had sex in the room. there was urine in the toilet and the toilet would not flush. the shower and tub were filthy. I went outside and got the security guard to look in the room. he came in and verified al that I saw. he went back to the lobby with me and after I told the manager my story the security guard said "all his points are valid" I was then told that the manager that could approve my refund would not be in until the next morning. I was given her business card with phone number to call the next day. so we ended up driving to state line and got a clean room at buffalo bills. when we woke up and started to leave Nevada we called the manager of the galaxy hotel and told her the story. well not only was she rude, she also refused to refund us for the rooms. we did not even stay there for one night. I have been to 3rd world country hotels that are much cleaner than this place. please do not waste your time and money with this place. this place reminds me of the prostitution district in Tijuana. this place should not even be able to operate as a hotel. and would you believe this place was 120.00 per night. lesson learned, I should have read these reviews before booking. I would not have been that upset if the hotel would have refunded my money. I will say that the gentleman at the front desk that night was nice and very apologetic, and the security guard was also very nice. Update: I do see the response from the management team, and I appreciate it. but I have read all of these reviews and it looks like the things that are consistent is that no one has been refunded. I don't know about the other situations, But I paid 250.00 for a sub standard hotel room, and did not even stay there. and on top of that the manager on duty got loud with my wife on the phone like it was our fault that the room was sub standard. this...

My children, their father and myself stayed as this janky motel for almost 6 weeks because we were new to Vegas and were looking for a permanent residence. During our time there, we had to be moved to a different room twice because of a rodent problem. Then again because the ac didnt work and again because the TV didnt work. Four times we had to be moved. I went in to speak to the manager Carlotta about a billing issue, and she had a serious attitude with me for what reason I dont know,I was not disrespectful, did not raise my voice, nothing but she told me I was being disrespectful because I came in the office pointing. She was extra friendly to my kids father the whole stay though so he tried to explain I was not the person she tried to make me out to be. After that I tried to avoid dealing with her but the other chick Tanya who started off nice, was no better after the encounter I had with Carlotta...long story short, this person, Carlotta, kicked me and my family out the day before we were set to leave to go back to Texas. We begged her 4 one more night and she refused even though we spent hella money in this dump and received no compensation for all the times we were inconvenienced with the multiple room changes. We were never loud, had no complaints from other guests, even cleaned the room ourselves because they never did, but they treated us like we were nothing! It was 100 degrees, we had nowhere to go and this B word wouldnt even give my kids cups for water. Then she called the police to remove us frm the lot while we tried to figure out what we were going to do for the night. So we ended up on the street right next to this dump literally, with all of our belongings. My oldest child was 12, youngest was 2. Luckily a kind gentleman who drove by and saw us out there on the sidewalk with everything we owned, gave us $100 to rent a room at the Motel 6 next door, God bless him. This place should be shut down or at the very least everyone in the office...
