We check into our room and head on up. We get to the room number that they assigned us and open the door, walk inside, and are met with a room full of other people's belongings. Puzzled, my husband and I turn around and start to walk back to the front desk. About halfway down the hallway we are met with a very nervous manager who explain to us that they had already booked that room and they needed to get us a different room. My immediate thought is how lucky it is that we are good honest people and decided not to rob whoever is room that we walked into. The world is shady these days and that kind of stuff happens without a second thought, whoevers room we walked into got lucky that it was us and some not somebody else.
The manager leaves us waiting in the hallway and comes back with a couple keys for a room on a different floor. He is very nice & obviously flustered. Great customer service, but right from the beginning I was left feeling uneasy that somebody might be able to walk directly into our own rented room.
We get up to our newly assigned room and are happy that it seems to be vacant. The room itself is not overly impressive. It appears to be clean enough. The tv doesn't really work, no giant deal. Within the first few minutes, we realized the toilet in our room is clogged and we have to call a plumber up. The plumber comes very promptly and fixes the toilet, but at this point we're just feeling very inconvenience in general and we've only been at the hotel for 15 minutes total.
We decide to get out and find some food, so this is where we leave the room and then come back later. Upon Our return, we relax and try to get some sleep. Within an hour of laying on the bed, we both wake up with severe allergy attacks. Our chest is tight we cannot breathe, our eyes are watering, our throat feels like it's closing up. the bed itself was so uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on a springy rock. We somehow make it through the night.
In the morning, we wake up incredibly exhausted and feeling sick. We leave the room as quickly as possible. Upon leaving the room, we immediately begin to feel better.
Night 2 of our stay comes around and we are absolutely stressed out about how we will rest in this terrible room. My husband speaks with the manager who we had interacted with the night before and explain to him that we're having a bad reaction in the room and asked if we can be moved to a different room. We are declined to this request because the hotel is booked up.
We go back to our room and attempt to rest. The symptoms seem to be kicked up a notch now and we are suffering. We try to rest just enough to be able to get in our car and drive home but we can't seem to get a wink of sleep with all of these physical symptoms the room is causing us to have.
At one point I realized the room was freezing and even though I had set the thermostat to 80°, it was blowing out air at a steady 72 degrees. That certainly didn't help.
Desperate for sleep and relief, we go out to our car in the parking lot and attempt to take a nap there. Yes you heard me right. We are napping in the parking lot of the hotel we have a rented room at.
As soon as we feel well rested enough to attempt our trip back home, we go back up to our room and pack everything for checkout. We go downstairs and just so happen to catch the continental breakfast at they are serving. It looks pretty from a distance but when we put the food on our plate it was pure garbage. They lost me immediately when the fruit dish they had out was completely sour and tasted fermented, it wasn't even edible.
Through the entire experience, the staff was very friendly and I'm sure they did everything that they could, but this was a absolutely terrible experience and I am not feeling it's a stretch when I say that staying at this hotel ruined my entire vacation.

Read moreThis hotel and its employees are the best. Wendy has been awesome every-time I walk in the door. She greets me by name and always says hi. She is always smiling and so cheerful. If it wasn't for her i wouldn't be here. Carlos is the bomb. He recognizes me every-time I come in. He makes my day better… well the night as he always gives an awesome welcome when i come through the doors. He chit chats with me and makes me feel like part of the hotel family. Jay this guy is just as awesome. Every-time i come in and he's here he's jumping up and waving with excitement and giving me a great welcome to the hotel. He has had amazing customer service. He has treated me too like part of the hotel family. Bridgett the bar tender… words cannot even describe how amazing she is. I wish she was here everyday as I miss her on Mondays and Tuesdays as the bar area is not open. Every-time i come into the hotel she sees me and yells across the room waving her arms and saying HI. I am always excited to come into the hotel from a long day of work to her welcomes to the hotel. She really makes my night better hanging out. I really feel like a family member from all the staff that is here as I am away from my family. This hotel is the best part of coming out here. I have been coming here for almost three years now every other week. I would not stay at any other hotel for any reason as this place is the place to be. Words cannot describe the experience that I have had here with such a caring staff as you have here now. They really go above and beyond for me with everything that do. I am overly grateful for everything they do for me and making me feel welcome. They all deserve a raise. By far the best experience ever and its all thanks to them. Really they deserve a raise. Thank you to these members for the wonderful experience and allowing me to have a home away from home. Oh P.s. everyone that has prepped the room for me which is many people behind the scenes has always provided an organized and clean room. Never not a disappointing day coming into my room all fresh and...
Read moreThis is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The front desk supervisor is extremely rude. When I booked the stay, it didn't say there was a $21 fee per day for parking. I asked her to show me where it states that. She responded rudely "it's on the website." I was on hilton.com and couldn't find it anywhere. I responded I still don't see it. Can you show me? She responded "No". I asked for the corporate number. She refused to give it to me and said it's on the website. Only after I said "why can't you just write it down" in front of other guests then she finally gave it to me. The first room had a bunch of hair and pubic hair on the sheet. They switched me to a different room and it was even worse. The walls are so thin that you can fully hear the conversations of the people staying in the room next to you. The Wi-Fi is absolutely horrible. You connect and 2 or 3 minutes later you get disconnected. Then it tries to reconnect. After about 30 seconds it reconnects. Then about 2 or 3 minutes later it disconnects again. This cycle of connecting and disconnecting kept happening over and over. Instead of fixing the floor in the elevator, they just tape it down with duct tape. On checking out they overcharged me. I booked the room for 1 person at $87.25 a night through a 3rd party but Hampton Inn magically changed the price to $111.86 per night. It's all done through computers. So how did I get overcharged unless someone at the hotel manually increased the price?
UPDATE I called corporate and they told me that an employee at the hotel manually increased the number of people staying in the room from 1 person to 4 people to increase the per night rate. That is real shady that they falsely changed the number of people staying in the room to increase the nightly rate when they knew darn well that there wasn't 4 people in the room. And I have a suspicion I know which...
