First, my massage was a 50 minute and I've never felt that in heaven after a 50 minute massage. He was so so so amazing that I could hardly get off the table and walk after. Normally that happens rarely and with a 90 minute massage. I thought this guy must be a dancer or something because he was so fluid and strong. I think it was Justin but now I can't remember since it has been a few hours. I will specifically ask for him next time.
My husband had a woman therapist and his experience was just ok. He said she didn't seem into it and didn't use much pressure. It's like the opposite of my experience.
Check in was ok. They said someone would be there to show me around. No one showed for at least 15 mins. Then she told me my massage was in 5 minutes so I hurried and showered because I was in the gym before going the spa. Turns out she got me confused with another woman and I had 25 mins. Ugh.
The shower is confusing. It's either raining raining down on your head or a handheld to the side. I could never completely turn off the overhead one.
I didn't see headphones at the gym which is pretty normal. Luckily I had some.
Then I think the snacks are just ok. Pretzels, bananas and apples. Drinks. I've been to lower end spas that were better.
Love the clothing optional jucuzzis. A larger warm pool, a warm and a cool one. Wish the heat was higher but gorgeous and so relaxing. Tons of magazines and loungers to use.
Didn't love the tv in the main area. Can't bring your phone in but idI prefer people in their phones on silent to the tv.
They only had one big bottle of lotion and it was all the way at the end of the counters and easy to mix up with the mouthwash. Apparently someone walked off with the other bottle (I asked and they confirmed). I'd just keep smaller ones at every sink and not make us hunt for one of two bottles. They have hairspray, gel, toothbrushes with toothpaste, razors and hair dryers.
You could say I'm picky but I'm pointing it out because the Delano is so high end that iIwas surprised it wasn't as good of an experience that I've had elsewhere in the strip. It could be better. However, my massage couldn't be any better (they add 20% gratuity on which I'd give more to my therapist and 15% to my husband's if I had a choice).
With that, I'm going back now for some more relaxation time that...

Read moreMy wife and I received a couples massage and we both loved our massages! The front desk check in was very courteous and professional, but when they handed us off to the person who was supposed to give us a tour the customer service was lacking. She was very rushed. She took my wife into the ladies locker room and said she would meet me on the other side to give me a tour. The facilities are very nice. I was hanging out for like ten minutes until I started getting worried. I went back to where we entered the locker rooms, but she wasn't there. I walked around looking for my wife and couldn't find her, so I went back and figured I'd wait. Another ten minutes went by and I'm starting to get concerned. I talked to someone else and they said there are two completely different sides of the facilities which was never explained to us. I went on another walkabout to find my wife and I ran into the woman who was supposed to give me a tour. I told her about my frustrations and how I'd been looking for my wife and she said, "no worries". She then proceeded to quickly take me on a tour that was as frazzled as she was. I rated four stars because the facilities are great and the massages were wonderful, but there customer service experience was incredibly frustrating and anything but relaxing. Some simple communication in advance would've alleviated...
