This place was a headache from the git-go. I booked my reservation online for a conference that was being held at the convention center next door. Never got a reservation confirmation email. Called up to verify my reservation and the lady on the phone (fairly rude) said she canceled it because she couldn't charge the card. So instead of picking up the phone or emailing me she just cancelled it. So I asked her to make sure there were no other issues we could just book over the phone. She said sure and took my information. Again no confirmation email was received which I told her. She really didn't seem interested in helping at this point. Finally, I get the email and move on. I get to the hotel a week later and get told there's no reservation for me. The lady there was doing her best to assist so no complaints with her. Finally, she saw where my reservation was marked as a no-show. Come to find out the lady I booked it with selected the wrong dates. She went ahead and got us in a room for the night (thank you for that) and said she would have her manager take a look the next day (which she did and they refunded the no-show charge for the wrong date after listening to the call recording). We go to get on the elevator and end up waiting for 10 minutes for an elevator. A sign said the second one is under construction. Every time you took the elevator you had to wait for 10 minutes sometimes longer. It was a mess, to say the least. Once we get to the room we start unpacking. The room smelled of aftershave, and the air conditioner was super loud when it would kick up. Woke us up every time. Once it got running it wasn't too bad but the starting up was the loud part. There were no plugs available around the bed that you could use with your charge. One plug was taken up by the internet and the lamp. The other side was blocked by the AC (See pictures). The tile was also dirty in the bathroom. (See pictures). The view and breakfast were the only good thing about this place. We will not stay here in the future tho.

We had a great stay at Music Road Resort. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. One of the highlights of the hotel was definitely the stunning riverfront location. The view from our room was beautiful. It was the perfect place to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the area. The amenities at the hotel were top-notch. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast was good with a wide variety of options to choose from. The only downside was the lack of plant-based milk options at breakfast or for coffee. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to all the attractions and activities that Pigeon Forge has to offer. Whether you're looking to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, visit Dollywood, or enjoy the numerous shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues in the area, Music Road Resort Hotel is the perfect home base for your Pigeon Forge adventure. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about Music Road Resort Hotel. The combination of exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, beautiful location, and great amenities make it the perfect place to stay in Pigeon Forge. I can't wait to return for another visit!

We stayed as a last minute trip. Spring break so prices were definitely up. We didn’t expect the outdoor pool to be open on April 5th but the pool was heated and really nice. We stayed on the hotel side and didn’t experience the Inn pools. Indoor pool was fun and the kids liked it a lot. Strong chlorine as with all indoor pool areas. Lots of clean towels always available. Plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing. In the room we had 2 queens and a sleeper sofa. Beds were comfy and pillows were nice. Bathroom was nice and the only complaint/suggestion I wish I’d made was they need a kids step stool under the sink since they are quite high. My 4yo couldn’t reach without me holding her up. I liked the towels. I tend to judge hotels based on towels. I kind of wanted to steal these :) I didn’t though, don’t judge. Breakfast had a lot of choices. I think it’s up to personal taste for most items but they had hot and cold cereal, biscuits, eggs, sausage and gravy. Large pastries, waffles and yogurt with mix-ins. I forgot to take photos of the breakfast area to post. The back patio area faces the river and is really nice for relaxing if the weather is cooperative. The staff at the front were all really nice.

We spent a week at this hotel in June 2025. Pros: -Clean -Housekeeping is awesome and will clean your room daily if you want. -Employees we spoke to were nice and professional. -Location was close to major attractions and restaurants in Pigeion Forge. -Pool area was large and offered an outdoor pool, lazy river, and indoor pool. Pool towels were always well stocked. -Patio area is very pretty with plenty of lighting, tables, chairs, rocking chairs, and a view of the river. -Our room was a balcony with river view, on the second floor, and the view was lovely. -We were there during a heatwave and the A/C worked great!

Cons: -THE ELEVATORS. There are only 2 elevators and 1 of them was broken down briefly when we were there. 2 elevators is NOT enough for the amount of people. It was normal to have to pass up 4 or 5 elevators (waiting 15-25 mins) before you could get on one that wasn't full. Taking the steps over and over was not ideal as our child had a hip replacement just a couple months ago. If he had still been in his wheelchair this would have been a huge issue for us. Elevator waits on the day we checked out were the worst, average 30+ minutes. -Bell carts. The day of checkout we waited 1.5 hours trying to get a bell cart. We ended up hauling all of our items in multiple trips down the stairs, with a kid that has mobility issues. -Pool rules and cleanliness. There are pool rules but no one followed them and not one person at the hotel did anything about it. Kids were walking down the water slide, taking tubes from the lazy river and using them on the slide. Parents were busy getting drunk on one side of the pool while their kids were being hellions on the other side. Glass bottles of booze were just chilling on the sides of the pool. The trash cans were overflowing with beer and white claw cans while food, trash and wet towels were left all over the ground and tables. -Innertubes. Just fyi the hole in the tubes are very small, like little kid size. My teen thought he would swim through the tube to get out not realizing how small the hole was, and got flipped upside down with his head submerged in the water and his legs in the air, because his hips were stuck in the small hole. Thank God I was right behind him and was able to jump in and flip him over. Just be aware. -Parking. There are not enough spots in the lot to accommodate all the guests at the hotel. There is a convention center next door and we were told we could park there, but it's a longer walk. Also, when there is a convention going on it makes the parking even worse. We had a handicap placard but it was extremely difficult to get one of those spots during our stay. -Breakfast. It's the same thing every day, and it's not great. If you stay a couple days it would probably be fine, but a week of the exact same food gets tiring. -Noise. The first couple days were fine but after that there were kids running and jumping in the hallways/rooms until midnight or later. Young kids going all over the hotel with no parents in sight.

Would I stay here again? Maybe. But I definitely cannot understand all the perfect ratings for this hotel. They do some things really well but there is a lot of room for...

We had stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and loved it. The staff was great, they had great amenities and the rooms were very well tended to.

This time as soon as we arrived we noticed that quite a bit of the hotel was falling apart. We got to our room and we're checking it out and there was a cockroach that crawled out of the microwave. We were trying to find it and we're unable to because we think it climbed into the back of it.

We went down right away and talked to the manager Ken and he told us that we could wait to be moved to a different room that was the same or we could be moved to another room that evening that was smaller. We voiced concern over the fact that our niece was with us and we didn't want her to sleep on the floor and Ken assured us he would not make her do that.

We decided we wanted moved into a smaller room and we got in there and there was no place for our niece to sleep. We went back down to the front desk and asked them why they put us in that room and they stated that was all they had. They brought us a rollaway for her and that took up every little bit of extra walking room we had.

My husband spoke to a gentleman at the front desk who said we would be refunded $479.38 due to us being moved to a smaller room that did not have all of the amenities that the original room we booked had and it was much smaller. (We never got this back).

We woke up the next morning to a room full of marijuana smoke and immediately called the front desk as I have a severe intolerance to it and it makes me sick. The manager came up and she stated she was able to smell it as well and would go figure out where it was coming from.

When we left 15 minutes later you could still smell it in the room even with the door shut.

We left and I ended up being nauseous and had a migraine for most of the day. We went back to the hotel and explained that we were checking out for the remainder of our reservation and that we would not be paying because of the issues we had.

I woke up the next day and noticed that there was a total of almost $1500 charged to my credit card and immediately went into the hotel and spoke to the manager Lori and she assured me that we would be getting $915.29 back within 7 business days. We also talked about the fact that we were to be checked out as of that day and they charged us another day. Lori stated she would speak to Ken that day and call me back that day or the next. I still have yet to hear from her about this.

We won't stay here in the future unless they make some drastic changes to their property and the way they treat...

This hotel is not for handicapped people. There is absolutely zero ramps or wheel chair accessibility throughout the entire building . There are no early check in's or checkouts and no matter where you book through your room may not be available at 4:00 p.m where it's clearly written. Check in is supposedly at 4:00 p.m. It takes forever to check in or ask a simple question. Everything and I mean everything is run through Management. I waited in line for nearly 30 mins with only 2 people in front of me. Along with waiting every single time for several minutes up to 20 or more minutes to speak to someone at the front desk. The front desk was friendly but slow possibly unorganized. My bed was broken Maintenance was supposed to come and repair it , never did. As far as cleanliness the baseboards, air conditioner vents, behind the bed, cabinets, bed table, and TV stand nothing was cleaned or vacuumed. There were spiderwebs, dust, old food and stains. Very few working electrical outlets and the patio was unswept with spider webs and paint chipping from the floor. They have no restaurants only a cabana that's open a few hours a day that serves overpriced mediocre Hotdogs, chili dogs, and chips. Their prices for 2 Hotdogs and a couple bags of chips were over $30. Their hotel is overpriced, under construction and could of been better. They have no exceptions nothing extra even if you complain or ask for an early or late check out. The outside pool isn't geared for little ones it starts at 3ft not 2ft so you'll have to hold your children the whole time if their unable to swim. No resting areas for little ones at all. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if you have children under the age of 4 unless they can swim. Or if you are handicapped in anyway. We stayed several nights with the same exact Breakfast served. You have to make your own waffle and there's no boxes to where you can take your food up to your room to eat. They use the cheapest paper plates to make sure that you are unable to warm up in a microwave because they'd melt. Or take to go food in large quantities to feed your family. Trust me when I say they will give you the run around (front desk) I'd personally chose a different hotel next time. Suited for little ones with more variety. Instead book at an actual 3 star resort that actually has a restaurant and bar. I shouldn't have to travel in a very busy area looking for food. There hotel should be rated a 2 star for lack of a lot of things such as no restaurant, bar, no room service, and lack of accessibility for Seniors and the...
