I had the worst experience at Culver's on Saturday night. To begin with I ordered 3 milkshakes and when I got up to the window I noticed they did not charge me for 3 and only rang up 2, even though I repeated 3 shakes many times and they told me they had it. Then they had to make a second transaction and put the shake on a separate receipt. I pulled up to wait on our food at 7:30 pm. After a few minutes an employee came out with one shake and a bag of food. I told him we ordered 3 shakes and he said my bad I'll go get those right away. He came back about 5 minutes later with only one more shake. I told him I ordered 3 as I previously stated many times. He said you really ordered 3? Did you actually order 3? You have 2, but you ordered a 3? It was all in a sarcastic contradicting tone. I did not enjoy being questioned in that rude manner. He clearly didn't believe me and I explained it was separate charges, but we had the bank account to prove where both charges had went through and he could see our receipt. He told me not to pull it up he would be back with another. We sat and sat and he made multiple trips to other cars and when he came out he would put his head down when he was anywhere near us to make sure we didn't stop him. Finally, around 8 a girl came up and asked us what was going on and we retold the story and showed the receipt and the bank charges. She came back with a 3rd shake and finally at 8:05 pm after 35 minutes we pulled out of the lot. It's absolutely ridiculous that 1. our food got cold and shakes were half melted. 2. A teenage employee was so incredibly rude. It doesn't matter that we were teenage girls we were paying customers and that's his job to attend to us not just to sit around and hope we go away and stop bothering him. I can't believe he treated us like we were lying scammers when we had proof. I never...
Read moreOn this particular day I placed an order with Culver's in Plainfield, IN. I've ordered from them before and love their food. The order was placed online and my son picked up. Right away they let my son know that they did not have the 2 large mashed potatoes we ordered and substituted them for large fries. My son gets home and I start going through my order and noticed none of the sandwiches had the condiments we wanted on them. I'm missing 2 large Cheese Curds, a medium onion ring and the side of signature sauce that I ordered. I was not happy, that's practically 1/2 our order not to mention a lot of money taken from us. I called and talked to a young guy, who was trying to explain what was missing to the manager and I clearly hear the manager say, why didn't they check their order before they left? Now, I'm furious. He gets on the phone and says come up here, we will give you the food you are missing, oh and by the way the BBQ sauce on the roast sandwich comes on the side. I said but you didn't give me any!! I said I'm not driving all the way back up there, my food will get cold, I'll take a refund for what is missing, he said fine, come get your refund. I said no just refund my card. He said we don't do that. So I gave him my name so that some other time when I'm out I'll have to try to stop by there and get my refund:( This experience was the worst one for me so far at a restaurant. I paid $95 for this order too:( The night manager was so rude. Really gives Culver's a bad rep...
Read moreI have been an E Club member for several years, I received an email for a buy one get one offer. There was no coupon link in the email. No where in the email did it say you had to bring the email with you to get the offer. It just stated bring your valentine with you. I arrived at the Plainfield location and ordered the two, two scope cones. II arrived at the window I was told I would have to pay full price or go home and get the email to get the offer. Unhappily I returned home with my wife of 52 years and got the email. We returned to the store with the email and went over it with the manager on duty, with her agreeing there is nothing in the email stating to bring the email in. She stated it was company policy. I asked to see the policy and was told I would have to wait 20 minutes for her to find it. I then ask her how a customer is to know their company polices, of which she had no answer. I finally gave up and paid the $4 for the one cone and got the other free. I would love to here from others who have had this same kind of experience. Please post if you have had the same experience.
Today I received a call from the store's General Manager and she apologized for the encounter I had the night before. She explained the staff did not handle this situation correctly. I have excepted her apology. I will leave the appropriate feedback on how we are treated on...
