My boyfriend bought me a necklace from JCPenny in February for Valentine’s Day. It’s fine jewelry, nothing cheap. About 3 weeks into wearing it the necklace chain breaks on me. I took this necklace into their jewelry department and Gayle was working. I had an unpleasant experience with her. I explained to her exactly what happened and that it was purchased on Valentine’s Day. She immediately asks if there is a protection plan on this item and I told her I don’t think so. And she says well there is nothing we can do if you don’t have a protection plan. Mind you I had the original box, the original tag on the box and the original tag that came on the necklace itself. And I just asked her I was just wondering if the chain could fixed, or replace the chain, or exchange it back for a new necklace. And she changes her tone with me and says If there’s no protection plan I can’t help you. I told her okay well I was just curious there’s no reason to get upset with me. And she looks at me and goes I’m not upset. And also states these chains are known for breaking that’s why you should have a protection plan. Okay well I think it’s very wrong to tell someone they are known for breaking and selling them anyways. So it’s almost like none of their jewelry is good without a protection plan because they’re faulty. Also I asked for a return policy to read and her body language and face just told me she was frustrated I asked for that. I am sad that my necklace is broken and they can’t do anything about it. It was an expensive gift from my boyfriend. And most of all I will never buy jewelry from JCPennys again as a jewelry sales rep told me “They’re known for breaking.” Save your...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with JCPenney's photography services. It took over a month to receive our digital downloads, and we never received the two canvases we ordered. Additionally, the prices we were quoted were misleading, and the final costs were much higher than expected. The photos themselves were of poor quality, with many coming out blurry. On top of that, the photographer poorly positioned our family, resulting in awkward and unflattering shots. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
Update: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent order and the service I have received. After nearly two months of persistent communication with your studio, the canvases I finally received are not what I ordered. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
I expect a prompt resolution to this issue
Update on my Update: Despite having great experiences at other JC Penny locations and even at this one in the past, this time was a total letdown. Nothing was resolved despite my complaints. I strongly advise against using Tera, the manager, as your photographer. My photos were ruined, and to make matters worse, they kept calling me to ask if I'd like to purchase another session. Absolutely avoid this place if you don't want your...
Read moreIt's apparent that customer service is not a priority at this location. I seem to have had the same experience as most of the other reviews. The online hours are not accurate. There were several people trying to get in the door past 10:00 am however the store didn't open until 11:00 am. I, like another reviewer, had an issue with my item not ringing up. There was a big sale sign posted with the sale price but whatever the cashier found in their site was priced higher than the actual advertised price. When I mentioned that, she rudely mentioned that it depended on the size, which I double checked before making my selection. Another cashier, who seemed like she might have been a manager of sorts, was getting frustrated with a customer and getting loud enough that you could hear her in the department just across and over from the registers. We all get irritated at times dealing with people but it wasn't that deep of a situation to get loud for everyone to hear. Apparently that was just her personality because she was rude with someone else she was ringing out. I looked at some jewelry and to be "real" gold shouldn't have discoloration, at least in my personal opinion, but it did, which was disappointing as it was my primary reason for going. Needless to say, I won't be...
