Lubliner Florist — Local services in Portland

Can't not recommend this place enough. I went into the store to look for a birthday bouquet of roses. Upon entering the store, I wasn't greeted. I proceeded to ask if the roses they had on display were the only roses. I don't really know a lot about flowers, but the rose selection wasn't great. They looked like they were dying and they didn't have a lot of them. She told me her roses were $6 a piece. I asked how much if I did a half dozen or a dozen. She said its the same price times 6 or times 12. $72 for a dozen roses seemed high but that's ok. I asked how much to put them in a nice vase. She said $125. I asked if she had balloons. She said no. I said how much is the vase. She said about $25. I said that's $97. She said i charge a processing fee and have to be paid to make them pretty. When I asked how much if I just by 12 roses and the vase and make it myself, she became irate! She started screaming and yelling at me unprompted. When the security guard came up, I asked if he heard her yelling and screaming for no reason. He said there was nothing he could do, which I understand because why lose your job over this.

I definitely say avoid this store at all costs! I went around the corner and bought a beautiful dozen roses and a vase and a ballon for a fraction of the price. I won't mention that name on this review, but I did leave them a great review today. And if you give this lady a try, just ask if she offers a discount for buying more flowers and you will see for yourself. Any place in Portland is...

An awesome florist...the arrangement was beautiful! They were so helpful at getting it delivered , too. By mistake I ordered my delivery date the day AFTER I actually wanted it delivered on the 30th of March. I contacted them via the "contact" section of their website the morning of the 29th of March to ask what time they'd be delivering it "today". That's when they informed me I had requested the next day for delivery. I was devastated to say the least because it was for my sister's retirement and she was not going to be in the office EVER again, lol. Well, the helpful women on the phone said "no problem" our delivery person comes back in around noon and we'll whip up the arrangement and have it delivered no later than 3 pm today and they did exactly that!!! They were so wonderful and there were no questions or excuses just help is on the way kind of attitude. Thanks so very very much for the excellent service and beautiful...
