Apna Bazar — Local services in Redmond

I would not give even single star to this store. Why? I tried to to return the unopened Anar fountain I bought just few hours ago as I no longer wanted it and not allowed as per the rules in Washington State to burst them in public places. There was no notification board in the store anywhere mentioning firecrackers once bought are not returnable and refundable even when I bought and not when I went there to return. I questioned the store manager of not having this non-refundable/returnable notice and he upfront lied saying we had it. Such pathetic liers.

Secondly I always prefer buying Indian stuff from other Indian stores as the vegetables are worst here and not worth spending money. Additionally they charge higher than what other stores like Mayuri Foods charge. In fact Mayuri Foods had 20 percent discount offers today but this store is utter rubbish and waste of money.

Update: Again I say you're lying and I can say 100 percent you're still. This shows you don't at all care for customers and prove that you're liers. Your policy wasn't there when I spoke to the owners and I have the witnesses as well. I think it's better to sue you for this false response and the store like you for falsifying info. This shows utter disregard for customers and it won't last for you in future for this deceit of customers.

Also next time I will get the pictures to prove freshness of your vegetables and stuff in the store. Please assure carefully and say...

I have been going to Apna Bazar from many years and they have always bagged the groceried . Today we bought stuff worth 150 bucks and expected that the cashier will pack it .. but no she just created a big pile on the counter and expected us to bag it and on top of that her attitude was like pack it yourself or leave without the grocery. And she starts to checkout another customer. We saw that cashiers on other counters were bagging the grocery. When we raised why won't she bag too this other cashier comes to us and starts talking in a raised voice telling us that we don't have humanity. Not entirely sure what humanity has to do with asking the cashier to bag the groceries. Not only that the other cashier also told us that if we buy too many items we have to help the cashier. I was like WHAT! It was such a horrible experience. There was no manager in the store to talk either. This was in Apna Bazar Redmond . Will think twice before...

Pls Beware, this store is indulging in fraudulent practices. I recently found the label on one of their product: Ashirwad Atta was pasted on top of an expired label. The product had expired in Jan 2025 but they had replaced the label with one that said Mar 2026. When I raised this with their owner, instead of rectifying, he screamed at me and told me that all customers are aware of it.
