Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Redmond

The employee working at this location was kind, respectful, and understanding. The manager, who I spoke with over the phone, was the opposite.

I custom ordered a photo cake days in advance, and received no flags or issues with the image when uploaded (I have confirmation). Somewhere along the way, the image must have been corrupted by the system so the cake came out with a corrupted image.

I was under a time crunch, and requested to be refunded or receive a replacement cake from the existing stock. After a very long and frustrating conversation with the manager, who repeatedly let me know that this was not their fault or responsibility, I was finally allowed to take a different cake in exchange.

I did not appreciate the managers tone and the implicit blame they placed on me. They repeatedly told me this was not their fault and not their problem to deal with, as they were not Baskin Robbins corporate or the upload system. Referring to themselves as a “small business” and that they were only doing this as a “favor to me” since it was not their fault. This is absolutely the finest Baskin-Robbins store I have ever come across! It is consistently, immaculately clean, delicious, open, and provides excellent service for a great value! The family that owns this particular store CLEARLY CARES a great deal about quality and cleanliness and a top-tier experience. The store inside and out is immaculately maintained. You will never see a dirty spot, or lint in a vent, a messed up restroom, or a smudge on a table. They also provide good training and good jobs to young people in our community. Oh, and the ice cream (and Hot Fudge!) are absolutely delicious and far exceeds that at Molly Moons, Cold Stone, and other places. We could not be happier with this store as part of our community and wanted to stay in business...

I went to the Baskin & Robin on Redmond Way in Redmond, WA yesterday April 23, 2013. I was surprised not to see anything on the widows or doors advertizing the $1.00-3.00 customer appreciation day sale. I saw it on facebook and it said nationwide wide. I got my two scoops for $2.00 for the first day but my daughter took some of her college friends in her car and paid full price for three scoops. She asked the clerk what about the customer appreciation day sale and the clerk lied and said it was not at her location. She looks spanish my daughter went about three o'clock on the first day of the sale. iI' m going to let corporate know so she can be reprimended for false adveritising.
