Greetings everyone, we went to the Mattress Firm in Merrillville Indiana today to look for a new mattress. We were just looking for a price and to see what was out there because we didn't know what we wanted. We had a memory foam mattress that lasted us about 12 years that we were happy with, but now my side is starting to get the dreaded pothole, and no I'm not fat, I'm portly... We met with a salesperson named JJ who's been in the business a ton of years, so he had knowledge and an expertise I've never dealt with before. He gave us a brief rundown of everything they had, showed us, and then asked us what we needed, wanted and what we didn't want. We narrowed it down to three different beds, and then started talking price. He then came up with a price that I believe was very fair. Instead of just looking, JJ sold us a new California King bed set, he was never pushy, had a great sense of humor, and was very, very knowledgeable. Since I'm not a rich person, I looked at different stores online when I came home to compare prices and found out that his prices were better than most. One of the best things about this is I will have the new bed in under 3 weeks. We've been buying a few things and have found problems with the items being delivered or being in stock. Mattress Firm had everything in stock and we just had to figure out when we could be around to take delivery. We could have had the delivery sooner, but because of my job that's as soon as I would be home to take delivery. I'm so satisfied that in the next couple weeks I'll be bringing my mom over here to get her a new bed set for her house. I guess that's the best compliment I can give, when you bring another family member to purchase items from the store and salesperson you delt with. It very important that I knew much information about the product I needed. Because I have back pain when I sleep. And when you pay any amount of money you want to be sure that the product will work for your needs. Robert worked with me on the important information about each bed and pillow that could work with my issue. I love the fact he didn't give up on me he worked with our budget. To ensure I would leave with the right choice. Unfortunately the beds on display are much broken in and is much more comfortable then the new bed s in the factory. I would have rather bought the display bed because it was much more suitable to my pain than the new one. But, I have 120 days to keep testing it to see if it will be the bed for me. So far I have had some nights where my back hurts and since it's a one piece me and my husband have two different sleep styles and I try to make sure he's comfortable as well.
