Eyemart Express — Local services in San Antonio

It has been a few months and my experience at this Eyemart Express still crosses my mind. A majority of the staff is so very helpful and kind. They are clearly very invested in getting customers a great deal and walking out happy. However, after many happy experiences here with my family, I had a horrible experience with Julie T. I walked in with my prescription looking to get another great experience, however, despite her kind eyes and talkative demeanor Julie was not upfront with how I was being charged. For the first time buying glasses for and by myself, I wanted to get a small upgrade from my usual plastic un-coated lens however the differences between each type and their degrees of upgrading and subsequent cost was not communicated to me. I left this interaction confused and spending much more than anticipated after talking the price down. To this day I do not see a visual or clarity difference in my lenses and was also charged for a warranty that I was not made aware of. I am very disappointed in her because of her lack of clarity and communication. I feel as though I was deceived because I was not made aware of the separate charges that created my total and was never even informed about a warranty. This ruined my first glasses buying experience and am looking in to different vendors. Really this is a review of Julie T. and her not representing the values of the company I came to...

I have never ever been more impressed by a business’ patience, helpfulness, and customer service Before!

I needed an emergency pair of glasses and walked in at 6:15 fully expecting to have to pick up my glasses tomorrow. When I went to check out they had a promotion for a free back up pair! (Sweet!) They told me that they could get one of the pairs done that day which was a very pleasant surprise!

My glasses were ready at about 6:50 and when I went to put them on I immediately regretted not getting the anti glare on the lenses. I couldn’t see anything and was like “dude I will pay for another full set of lenses, can I please swap them out?” Again, I was expecting to have to pick them up tomorrow but they jumped right on it, only charged me the $25 for the upgrade and stayed a little late to fix them for me!!!

I was planning on running in there and getting a cheap pair that will last me long enough until I found a pair of frames I really liked and could wait for them to come in. I looked in the mirror this morning and decided that I actually really like these inexpensive frames and probably won’t even go searching for another pair!!!

These people are my new favorite people in the entire world! I cannot thank...

This store is amazing!! I needed glasses quick!! I had to drive out of town, at night. And I can’t see at night at all while driving! The employees were fantastic! Friendly, informative, but not pushy! They cut my glasses in 11mins (yes MINUTES). I was in a hurry, and I couldn’t believe it. They quoted me an hour, which I already thought was fast. I told them I would go home and pack up the car and come back, and pick them up on my way out of town. I didn’t even get half way home, to get the text they were done. Insane!! Also, they have a large amount of options. They have designer frames, down to budget friendly options. But they are all quality frames. I was not disappointed one bit. I love my new frames. Plus they have deals. I got buy one, get one 50% off. And I also got an additional coupon on my receipt for 99 dollar sunglasses. So I will be back to get some sunglasses soon. I really am excited, I got good frames, I can finally see. And with these prices, I can afford to get more than one frame. So I can have some options and back up...
