The optometrist was awesome. She was very nice and informative, and had a demeanor that made you feel comfortable. However, the staff left room for improvement. The 2 employees were borderline rude, not so much to me, but when a customer was on the phone asking how much would be charged to their insurance the employees acted annoyed and responded shortly. Their attitudes were just crummy. Also when I was being attended to by one of them (the male) he continued his conversation with the other employee while operating the equipment on my eye. Very unprofessional. Instead of warning me that a puff of air was about to smash into my eye he was talking with the girl in the front about Michael Phelps diet. Very unprofessional. I'm pretty laid back and tried to make it less awkward by adding some info I had on Michael Phelps diet but was met with awkward silence. Very unprofessional (and pretty dickish). All in all I really want to give it a lower review but the optometrist was good, she just needs to retrain her staff on how to act around and...

The optometrist was condescending when answering questions. When I asked for her to simplify things because her technical terminology was not making any sense, she was clearly annoyed but still did not know how to explain things more simply and continued to complicate things with medical terminology. I feel like the exam was over complicated and unnecessarily stressful. People want to understand the numbers you are throwing out, especially since we are being given options between glasses/contacts and can not make an informed decision when we dont completely understand the information being given. I would highly suggest learning how to communicate the information you are trying to give people in a way that even a 5 year old can explain. Dr Jessica Rivera, always has been very kind and patient with me, couple times went to see her because something got into my eye, like a piece of debris, she examined my eye until found the cause of my discomfort, also performed eye exams on several occasions to order my prescription glasses. Exam prices are fair, very affordable.

The receptionist may sound like she's not very nice and could sound rude but anyway my goal is to see my favorite Dr and nobody is going to ruin my consultation. For her kindness and great dedication in each visit, I highly recommend and give her ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ well deserved golden stars. Thank...
