Elegant Nails does a great job with natural nails. The only thing that I don’t like is that they use their fingernails to clean up polish. It’s more hygienic to use a brush.
The pedicure is more expensive than nearby salons and they aren’t as diligent about removing dead skin with a pumice.
I would not recommend this salon for nail art or gel. I didn’t like that my nails were filed and shaped after the gel was applied. It majorally took off length from my natural nails, which I said I wanted to keep long.
The nail tech made a thumb and a pinky finger bleed following cuticle removal. My thumbs is still throbbing because the tech cut into the indent where my nail stops and the skin starts. My finger has been hurting for 3 days. I would soak off the gel but I spent over $100 to this set (that is NOTHING like the original inspo photos I showed them) and I have a trip coming up. This was a good lesson to learn- stick to the services that I routinely get from them. If you want rad. Ail art, you’re going to have to scour IG for SF...
Read moreWould give zero stars if I could! DO NOT come to this salon. It was the worst nail salon experience I've ever had in my life.
I made an appointment for a gel mani pedi with a friend this past weekend. They did an extremely poor job with our nails: made my friend bleed multiple times, left portions of my nails unpainted, painted way too many coats, etc.
But the worst part was that they got very defensive when we asked them to be more careful and refused to acknowledge their errors. Literally, my friend's nail had a ton of blood and the lady said "It's not bleeding." After our horrible experience, we asked for a discount, and they only gave us $10 off a $92 mani/pedi.
I am appalled at the horrible service and immature way they dealt with our concerns. I am amazed that they have any positive reviews at all. Please save your money and your nails and go...
Read moreSo, I went here to get my nails redone as I had builder gel polish at home. Waited there for at least 45 mins before I was seen. Then the woman filed all my nails down till it hurt. Put the builder gel on and spent about 1.5 hours painting the tips on. The builder gel that was put on my nails was extremely thick and not like polish. My real nails are totally ruined. If that wasn’t bad enough. She charged me $75!!!! Which is more than double what I pay at home, and the nails looks twice as bad. I feel like I got totally ripped off just because I was a tourist. So unfair. WILL NOT BE RETURNING, and will not be...
