We stayed in the carriage house. The owners were very quick to respond to any requests and questions we had. Space was very comfortable and private. It is upstairs so be prepared to carry your luggage esp if heavy. The space was furnished nicely w all the expected amenities, i.e. coffee, toiletries, laundry etc. I would stay again. Some items that could be addressed... Two of the windows didn't close all the way at the top so a lot of street noises came in. Some of the cabinets were filled with cleaning/tools/household items. Made it feel a little like being in someone's apartment. I expect some space reserved for these items but a little too much. Upgrading on furniture would be nice. The mattress was a bit soft. The couch is well used and the swivel chair in the living room is impossibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was huge and the shower was spacious. Room for 2 or more. 😉 Minor cosmetic updates would help. The online pics are best so I only included pics of the items that could be addressed cosmetically.

We loved our stay at House on Taylor. We stayed for a long weekend birthday trip and stayed in a few different rooms, all of which were amazing. You can tell there was a lot of attention to detail when decorating the rooms and deciding what furniture to purchase for each space. The stay was comfortable and the location was great. And the owners were amazing. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Savannah!

What a phenomenal stay! The location was perfect right in the corner of Taylor Square, and we were able to walk all throughout the town with ease. The bed was gigantic (King sized) and the sheet were super comfortable. The host were very accommodating and fast to respond to any questions we had. If you're looking for total relaxation and a stress free stay in Savannah, I highly recommend House on Taylor.

My stay at the Cathedral View property at House on Taylor Square, was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The accommodations were nothing short of impeccable, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The decor was a stunning mix of modern sophistication and timeless charm, making each room a delight to be in.

From the moment we walked through the door, I felt instantly at home. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts were evident in every aspect of my stay, making me feel like a cherished guest rather than just a visitor. The thoughtful touches, such as plush bedding, luxurious amenities, and a fully equipped kitchen, truly made me feel comfortable and cared for.

The location of Cathedral View is simply unbeatable. Nestled in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, it offers easy access to all the best local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic sites or enjoying a leisurely stroll around the squares, we always felt like we were right in the midst of everything one would want to see and do.

I look forward to my next return visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch...

This house is an amazing place, on a prominent corner in a nice part of town across from one of their famous squares. It’s been lovingly restored by its current caretakers and our hosts for the weekend, Ross and Will. From the moment you walk in, you will be amazed by the incredibly high ceilings, original wood floors and railing, brand new bathrooms, and the most comfortable beds and linens I have ever slept on. The rooms themselves are done to the highest standard, with no expense spared, there’s even a TV that turns into artwork when you turn it off. To top it off we were lucky enough to get some playtime with their lovely dog Henry! Thank you for a great stay, we can’t wait to...
