By far the best, and most unexpected, place that we visited in Savannah. We were given the recommendation (by a local) to stop in here, because it was a local favorite. I would describe this place as a very unassuming, almost easy to just walk past hole in the wall. It boosts a very large Pabst blue ribbon beer sign hanging right above the door. But the bartender was fantastic, and made me what I will say is the best old-fashioned I have ever had anywhere in the states. Being that this is my “go to” beverage, I really did not have high expectations, but boy was I wrong. I had two drinks and enjoyed each one. The vibe was awkward, unique, and almost like being “in” a movie. But WE LOVED IT. Seriously fun little place. I sat in the famous “Jimmy Carter” chair, where there is a plaque commemorating his many visits. I must say we really enjoyed the bar. It’s weird. A little “time warp” back to the 70s or 80s. But if you are looking for a quiet spot to have a 12oz $8.00 old fashioned then visit. Just keep it a secret so it’s still a “locals bar”. :)

My wife and I have made several visits to Savanah in the past and we love to find a new places to see & visit while we're here. But we never knew about this Place.. Pinkie Masters was recommend to us by a friend. My wife and I are So glad we did and visit this little corner bar. It was an absolute blast and loved the history that goes great with Savanah. Fun friendly locals. Andrew the bartender became our new friend in 5 minutes with his great personality, he made us feel right at home. Some good local craft beers and ice cold mugs. Also see and enjoy all the photos on the wall of Jimmy Carter with Pinkie. And a Plaque on the bar from President Carter. Dog friendly & Cash only. This will be our regular spot to visit next time in Savanah. I suggest you pop in for a cold one. Tell Andrew Johnny & Sarah sent ya đŸ˜ŽđŸ˜đŸ»

We accidentally stumbled into this little local pub! The atmosphere was fantastic, thanks to the locals. Everyone was really friendly to us tourists. One gentleman even shared a story about how President Jimmy Carter once sat on the other side of the bar here. God rest his soul! They have a huge variety of draft beers. The bartender was also very cheerful, which really added to our good mood! The price-quality ratio is excellent! It’s a must-stop during a sightseeing tour of Savannah! It’s good to know that Savannah is one of only three cities in the U.S. where you can drink alcohol on the street, either partially or fully.

I love this place. It's local as am I. The bartender was attentive and I was just one person sitting to myself and catching my buzz. I was in the corner and then a place opened at the bar and I moved. I finished my beer and put money out for another. The bar was busy on and off and I'm a patient person. The bartender acknowledged me and then and made drinks for others, that's cool. I waited and waited. So I felt I was not going to be served so I took my money back and left. I'm disappointed. I love this place and choose to give my business to them. I met the owner and he was friendly and kind so that's what makes me go back. I felt he was solid and honest and that's important to me. I'm local and I want to support local businesses of people I like. With that being said I'm not sure what happened today. I blame no one, as I've worked in the service industry over 35 years. I understand that there's a lot of moving parts. I'm sad that I was...

Mike the bartender made a fun experience a great experience. He was funny, friendly and very dry. My kind of humor. The people-watching here was on a legendary level and we had a blast speculating as to the private lives of the patrons. This is a cash only bar, but there is an ATM on site with a reasonable fee. The drinks are pretty no-frills, but we were there for a couple beers and a couple shots. We didn't need any "Rye Bourbon Manhattans with an Absinthe Wash" on this visit. We were there to scope out the locals and get a night-cap. It was perfect for that... oh, and we caught a celebrity there, too. We left her alone, because we aren't savages and it was apparent that she was trying to be low-key and incognito. We respect that, as did MOST of the patrons. This is that kind of bar. A local bar for locals... and anyone else that knows how to behave themselves in public. We will...
