Perry Lane Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Savannah — Hotel in Savannah

My mom and I stayed at the Perry Lane Hotel in late November. What a gorgeous hotel with so many people there to make you feel welcomed and valued!||First off, the style of the hotel itself is beautiful! From the lobby to the rooms, it is stunning! I loved the style, colour palate, and layout! As well, lots of great lighting options! You melted into the extremely plush beds, and the robes and slippers were so cozy! One of the reasons we chose the hotel is because the windows open - which is personally a perk for me! (Though I am sure you don’t want to open the windows if it is warm and humid outside, which wasn’t an issue when we were there.) We were upgraded from a superior room with two queens to a deluxe room with two queens. It sounds like rooms are very similar in size but the deluxe rooms are on higher floors with views. ||The vast majority of those we met at the Perry Lane were memorable with their service. From Daniel who greeted us as we got out of our Uber, Esthel who checked us in and gave us free breakfast for two mornings for my mom’s birthday, to Alicia who was so warm and friendly and thorough during turn-down, to Carlis who drove the complimentary car one day we took it, to Jenny so warmly and quickly helping solve a couple issues on our last morning (below), to Julian, to (I am so sorry, I forgot his name - but recently moved from Atlanta), to the concierge (so sorry, I again forgot his name, but he had dark hair, glasses, and was working the morning of Saturday, November 23rd and was SO kind and helpful and helped us book a trolly tour and told us about the Christmas market and Forsyth farmers market), Alonzo at the Emporium, to a gentleman who I spoke with late one night (I am so sorry, I forget his name as well) when I had questions a couple weeks after check out about my bill (what was tour vs what was room due to me loosing by printout) - he was very helpful!)||The location was perfect - seemed like a quieter area compared to being right on river street or bay, but still in the middle of everything! Just walk a block or two and you were on Bull street, able to walk up towards Broughton or the river, or walk down towards Jones & Forsyth park. Just perfect! ||We enjoyed two breakfasts at The Emporium - equally as beautiful as delicious! We were generously given vouchers and loved the experience! We also went up to the Perrigrin (hotel rooftop bar) on our last night to soak in the sunset - one of the most special experiences! ||There were a couple hiccups during our stay (hot water in shower issue the first night, a small extra charge noticed before check-out, and fridge warming issues). I mention these becuase I think it’s all HOW a hotel deals with this vs IF they happen, because they are bound to happen anywhere and they can threaten to ruin a hotel experience and leave you with a bad taste in your mouth for the hotel, if not the city. These things happen and you want to know a hotel will deal with them with as much care and promptness as they would if it was impacting them personally. The Perry Lane was very quick to remedy all of these leaving any bad tastes! They sent an engineer up right away and created a work plan for the hot water issue, removed the extra charge swiftly without back and fourth, and invited us to take some complimentary juice shots from their coffee shop to replace what was spoiled due to the fridge not cooling. Again, these things happen and it’s ALL about how staff deal with it and they passed that test with an A+. ||We are so glad we decided to treat ourselves and splurge on this property! It really did make our trip to Savannah extra special to know we were coming back to such a comfortable room and such kind and warm people!...

The Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah is generally well-regarded for its luxurious accommodations, attentive service, attention to detail, and convenient location in the Historic District. Our stay at Perry Lane was phenomenal. This two building hotel has you in awe from the moment you walk through the doors kindly opened for you. Upon entering you are immediately greeted by a grand lobby along with the most gracious hosts Kylie and Itu, who offer a very nice champagne. Every employee encounter since the moment of arrival was splendid, from the manager Elise to our new friends Kari, Alex, Randy, Grace, Sy, and Emiro. It was as if every one of these wonderful people were extremely proactive, tending to our needs before we were able to realize exactly what our needs were. Moreover, the housekeeping staff were very kind. We were given everything we needed with exceptional care and attention. Additionally, this hotel provides a light and homey feel with cute attention to detail, like placing two small statues that change hilarious positions periodically. Nestled in a serene location just outside the heart of Savannah, this hotel allows you to immersify yourself in all of the city’s entertainment, with the convenience of a short drive in the included company car or a walk to your desired location. The amenities are vast and gracious. There is a nice restaurant and cafe, with pastries (we personally loved the croissants) and a great range of drink choices, from smoothies to coffee.”The Muse” is a clothing and accessory store also located at Perry Lane. Furthermore, there is a very nice rooftop. Atop the roof, there is a newly renovated bar, offering drinks and a food menu. These can be enjoyed above a fireplace, in a booth, in front of the beautiful view of the cityscape, or while posing in front of the beautiful mural. To the right of the bartop, there is a rectangular pool with soft blue lounges, perfect for relaxing in the or cooling off in the clear water. Finally, not to worry parents, this hotel is also kid friendly. Though on the higher end of the hotels in savannah, there are plenty of activities, space, and activities for the little ones. With its homey feel and nice atmosphere, the kiddos loved the Perry Lane Hotel and cannot wait to go back, nor can I. Overall, this hotel is a gracious place to go to and will have you loving Savannah more than ever. It felt closer to a home than a hotel and I am so grateful to have been able to experience this...

husband and I chose the Perry-lane ( again) due to our excellent experience we had after our stay over year ago. We came to Savannah last year for a fun birthday get away for my husband. We loved it so much, came back a short year later to house hunt for retirement. We were expecting for things to be somewhat slow paced and challenging due to our new world today! Not at the Perrylane! If the Pandemic, Covid or staff shortages in todays world has affected the Perrylane, “YOU”wouldn’t know it! From our arrival of being greeted with kindness and eagerness to help us get settled and relax, the staff were spectacular throughout our stay! I especially want to point out Zach ( at the door). He was an absolute pleasure! Just kind, helpful and always smiling! Which honestly is the case with all staff at the Perrylane! Then of course you mustn’t forget Kennedy! He actually remembered us from our stay a year ago. Talk about customer service, personalizing your individual needs/requests geniality and someone eager to please and help…this is our friend “Kennedy” he could not do enough for us, as with any customer in your hotel. My husband and I have so much respect for him as it’s obvious he comes to work everyday to provide the best possible service he can to as many people he is able! ( and always follows up) If you have a “Mission Statement” Kennedy is honoring that and it’s your customer that benefits from it! I’m not sure who or what training service you use but keep it! It worked then and is still working so smoothly without a “flaw” My experience with the manager was most helpful with a couple of personalized requests. Whatever your doing, don’t change a thing. The rooms are excellent and clean, the staff are responsive in providing us with any last minute, unexpected requests. The morning manager that helped me with my granola request. I just wanted yogurt ( it’s not on this menu at this time but never a problem ) they are extremely accommodating!. It was exactly what we needed and the girls and the manager showed nothing but generosity! I could go on and on but you may get bored and I don’t want to lose your attention. I worked in customer service for over 30 years! Whomever is screening your applicant and providing the hiring, training program, your doing it right! I have more personal relationships with Kennedy, Zach, Pops and the manager but please don’t forget all staff that were scheduled Tuesday...
