AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!
My family and I have been excited to come to Sedona Pizza Company for a while, after seeing them on Facebook. We saved them as our last meal in Sedona before leaving. Big. Mistake.
We walked in, and immediately were greeted and sat. We were helped by Sarah who acted as though giving a refill was giving up her kidney. We ordered an antipasto salad, "garlic" "cheese"bread, and a pizza with half meat and half veggie.
The "garlic" "cheese"bread was hard, crusty (half of which was so hard and crusty, it could not be eaten), and covered in a thick layer of artificially tasting cheese. There was no garlic to be found anywhere. The waitress asked if we would want marinara and oil and never mentioned a charge, we said "sure!" BEWARE, there is a charge for the marinara.
The antipasto salad was a cup of tough, sad arugula, with a heap of store purchased processed flavorless meats, a few olives and 2 pieces of artichokes. The dressing is solely oil and vinegar and utterly tasteless.
The pizza was black. Burned to a crisp. I understand "wood fired," but I did not expect to actually eat a piece of wood with a few toppings. We asked the waitress why it was burned and if there was anything we could do, she replied, "its wood fired so, no." Helpful. The pizza was also soggy and soupy in the middle. The meat portion had no taste. I rather eat Pizza Hut or Digoriono for the rest of my life than ever have to eat another slice of this pizza again.
We got our ticket and everything total was $60. Salad= $12.99 Pizza= $17.99 (6 slices) "Garlic" Bread= $4.99 ("Cheese"= $1, Marinara= $.50) Margarita= $10 2 Teas= $6
What I am saying, is this is not worth the money.
We left a comment card with our thoughts, but wanted to contact the manager personally, to let him or her know our thoughts.
Gillian (the restaurant manager) could care less about our business, and that was clear. With every problem we listed, she immediately said, "why didn't you say anything?" We did. We informed our waitress about everything and there was nothing done. Gillian's (the restaurant manager) remedy was to offer us a discounted meal the next time we come in. When we informed her we would not be coming back, she then informed us then there was nothing she was willing to do and hung up the phone.
If you are post Jeep tour and starving and literally every single restaurant is closed within a 15 mile radius, then go for it. That is the only way I can ever imagine finding this...

The Food: The Neapolitan pizzas are the real star—thin, wood-fired crust with just the right chew, and toppings that taste fresh and thoughtfully chosen. The Prosciutto pizza with caramelized pear, goat cheese, and arugula is a perfect balance of savory and sweet, while the Meat Lovers satisfies the craving for something hearty. Portion sizes are generous; an 8-slice pie can easily feed two hungry people.
If pizza isn’t your thing (though it should be here), the pasta menu holds its own. The Chicken Pesto Penne is rich and aromatic, the Seafood Pasta is loaded with shrimp, mussels, and clams, and the Fettuccini Alfredo is decadent without being overly heavy. Sandwiches, like the Red Rock Parmesan and Caprese Pesto Burger, round out the menu with creative twists.
The Dog Menu: Yes, they have a dog menu! For just $5.99, your pup can enjoy options like chicken apple sausages, a puppy patty, or Fido’s Favorite baked chicken breast with apple slices. It’s a small touch that makes dining here feel extra welcoming for pet owners.
The Atmosphere: Bright, spacious, and family-friendly, with a lively mural that transports you straight to the coast of Italy. Tables are set with red napkins and there’s a casual, bustling vibe without feeling too loud or chaotic. Perfect for groups, date nights, or bringing the whole family—dogs included.
The Service: Friendly, attentive, and efficient even during busy hours. The staff knows the menu well and are happy to recommend pairings or modifications. Cindy was great and accomodated the custom pizza.
Overall: Sedona Pizza & Pasta Co. nails it—authentic Neapolitan pizzas, hearty pasta dishes, great service, and even a thoughtful dog menu. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over another slice (and maybe sneak your pup...
Read moreThe place was far from packed, and they were severely understaffed. From the moment we sat down, we were already forgotten. Same as the poor couple sitting next to us that were there even before we got there. After asking the poor young lady at the front for a server, we finally got our water and we ordered our meal right away. Before long, our food arrived but one pizza and a drink. The server said it is coming, but after 45 minutes and everyone was done eating, the one pizza has not arrived and our friend still was not eating. We asked the lady at the front desk again and she flagged our server because he never really attended us. He was too busy talking to the bartender. He came and said, the pizza is literally coming out of the oven. Then 15 minutes passed by and he chatted some more with the other workers. Pizza didn’t come. He said, pizza actually is not coming - well, he had lied. We asked for our bill, very unhappy. Took another 10 minutes for him to remember to get our bill. We gave him a 15% off coupon at the beginning of our visit and he forgot to apply them. We reminded him but he said, “you gave me a coupon?”, checked his pocket and found the coupon. He then said, “well the person that can apply this is busy”. We didn’t care and waited SOME MORE for this server who had clearly found the wrong profession to do this simple task. We were a table of 5, but only 4 were fed, yet this TERRIBLE server didn’t forget to apply the automated 20% tip for a table of 5 or more. No wonder he could care less! We should have checked the review beforehand and NEVER came here. Save yourself time, food was good but overpriced for a...
