This is a longer review. TLDR: Nice atmosphere, nice server, sad bland food. Hair in salsa.

Now, we found this place just driving to get to the restaurant we wanted to go to. But, said restaurant had an hour wait time. So we ended up here.

Was greeted by the hostess and seated rather quickly. The place had a lovely atmosphere and was decently clean, at first.

Next was our server (Devon) who was very friendly and not at fault for the bad food. (Was tipped extra and in cash, he deserved it). He brought out our chips with salsa and guacamole as well as our drinks.

I was the first to try the salsa. Said salsa was more bland than just straight tomato. After I had tried it, one of my other party members (no one will be named) was about to try it. She found a hair in the salsa, a white hair about the length of the average index finger. No one else had the salsa. Also the chips were clearly store bought and kinda sad. And the guac was, just okay. And by okay I mean the “disappointed sigh okay, “ that many have heard before.

Next came the food, very quickly. I think it was microwaved as the food was Luke warm and, well bland. My other party members each had the chicken and spinach enchilada. Which was just okay and as one party member put it, bland. As they couldn’t even taste the spinach. The sides were nothing special either.

I had the chicken tacos. The chicken had no flavor, was room temperature and somehow made a tortilla both more bland and too stiff while still tasting undercooked. The sides were not good as the Spanish rice was undercooked and the beans were a sad sloop of brown. The cheese was not even melted and The Whole affair tasted of microwave.

We did not finish our food, I could not eat more than one taco before we just stopped. The whole thing cost 60$ even with the server giving us a discount to ease the sting of dissatisfaction that radiated between us for a short time.

Thank you Devon for being as nice as you were.

And to all others. Please avoid this place As there are multiple other, much better restaurants within walking distance. There is probably better Mexican food in that same walking distance though i did not do the most thorough search.

Thank you for reading and hopefully...

My husband to be and I asked to be sat outside on the patio on a Friday evening around 6 pm. we were brought to a very nice table and asked for our drink order immediately. That was the best part about it. Other than that our drinks were subpar. The margaritas are made obviously with a mix and over sweet. You can get margaritas like this anywhere at any Applebee’s or other chain restaurant. The chips and salsa are yummy, served warm and salted with guac and your choice of spiciness of salsa. The guacamole was delicious but the salsa tasted like they just added pepper and hot sauce to it to make it spicy. Then we waited approximately 40 minutes while the rest of the restaurant and patio filled up. I was so irritated by the wait time that I told hubby we should just pay for our drinks and leave but he’s nicer than me and asked for our food to go. I felt bad for the servers because it seemed to me to be out of their hands as they were busy that night. Back at our hotel, we went to dig into our food and we were disappointed to find a soggy, sloppily made veggie quesadilla filled with too much onion and black beans for their veggies (?) and another subpar dish of salad that again looked like something from Applebees or Jack in the Box. Needless to say, it all went in the garbage....

I am giving a one-star review because my food was absolutely overdone, super salt taco meat and dried out, with a smidget of lettuce and a couple of sprinkles of cheese My shell broke up in the minute I grabbed my taco on the bottom.....chips were over fried as well and the oils they used didn't taste good.........what I asked for from the waiter was not even brought to the table.

I actually had to ask for extra lettuce and cheese I don't know how an expeditor could even let that food go to the table.

And then after they checked in on me halfway through the meal and I was super hungry! I proceeded to say I'm a master photographer for Google My business photographs have over 84 million views...

One would think that I gave them an opportunity to comp me the meal or make things right?

All I was told is "the regular chef is not there we had a line cook tonight"

No manager came over, the cook didn't come over. Instead I just got a bill and I'm sorry you didn't like your food. I don't know about you but now I see why the rating is so low here.

I would not recommend this place based on my experience. Not to mention the prices were extremely high for the smallest of tacos I've ever seen two tacos and a little bit of...
