🚩🚩🚩🚩The first red flag was the showroom; two thirds of it is lovely and one third is covered with black plastic. Hmmmmm. The second flag is Mr. Patel, who is quite the used car salesman; when asked about a particular sectional he lied and told me it wasn’t there. But I found it but with a higher price tag than the one online. Third red flag was when I refused to purchase the protection plan; I was then told to have a seat up front and a manager came to attempt to talk me into purchasing the plan. I found that odd, no means no. The fourth red flag was when it was explained to me that it was a good thing that they had the couch there that I wanted. Because if it was shipped from another store, then I would be charged tariffs. I was thinking 🤔 you do not get charged a tariff for things coming state to state. The fifth red flag was on the day of delivery, I received a text message and an email stating that the delivery of my items will not arrive until the following week. I called the customer service number and was informed that the date was changed the next day after I purchased said item. But no one informed me of this all week. I have now removed my furniture that was previously in my front room in hopes that the furniture would be delivered on that day I was told in the store. I waited to call the store to ask about what was going on. I am then told that on the trucks aren’t coming out. I interrupted the operator to inform her that I already know the date was changed on Sunday, the day after my purchase and the trucks not running today had nothing to do with it. She then informed me that she will have a manager call me back. To the sixth red flag, the manager once again, I was told before I left that store and given them 1610.00 for a couch and ottoman, that it would be delivered on the 19th not the 26th; when I will not be available for delivery. So to some things up our conversation didn’t end on good terms. But I do want my monies returned. I was told since I paid in cash for $700, that has to come in a form of a check from their corporate office and eventually my $910 will be returned to our account. I wasn’t informed on when. If you can avoid this painful situation, PLEASE DO, DO NOT HAVE ANY DEALINGS UNTIL THEY GET THEIR...
Read moreOur experience this time was far different from the previous time last year when we purchased approximately 8,000.00 dollars worth of furniture with Donna Chapman, her customer service is the reason why we came back, now I wish we would have reached out to her before going back. We needed another end table for our living room furniture we bought last time and we wanted a new desk for our home office. We started out looking for the matching table for our furniture, when the salesman arrived and asked what we needed he said that they were spread throughout the store, at that point he didn’t know we also were looking for the desk and he walked away so we could find the table for ourselves. I feel that he could have looked up our purchase and taken us in the direction of where they were, but he had no interest in a small sale (in my opinion), when I asked about the sale going on he said we weren’t spending enough to get any discount. We were so disappointed with the service we received if it wasn’t for the fact you had the matching table we would have left shortly after we got there. You have a great sales lady in Donna Chapman she has the patience and must have walked us around the store twice until we were completely happy with our choices. If we ever go back it would only be if we could work with her. Your staff at the back counter was of great help also she kept paging for someone to come help us after we found our table, unfortunately it was the same salesman who left us earlier. Thank you for your...
Read moreI was in the store two days ago in hopes of buying my first mattress. Everett was my salesperson and he was truly great--answered all my questions well and basically gave me the key to the kingdom. Imagine my agitation when I returned yesterday eager to fill out my paperwork only to find out that literally almost EVERYTHING he told me the day before was a lie. He told my I could get the 60 months with zero interest KNOWING I had firmly decided to get a mattress that was $1500. Guess what? You can only do the 60 months zero interest if you spend $2000 or more. He never told me that the day before. He also told me there was a 90 day guarantee where if I didn't like my mattress, I could return it. Didn't find out until I was filling out the paperwork that that only applies when you buy the $200 mattress protector. I asked Everett if there was a delivery fee and he said it was $65. I asked if that was something that needed to be paid up front. I KID YOU NOT, he looked me in the eye and said if you don't wanna pay the delivery fee, I'll take care of you. Guess what I was charged for last night on the paperwork? And to make matters worse, I asked him why I was paying for that and he made it out like it was a deal I was paying $65 and not $135. I'm extremely irritated with the way the salesperson lied to me multiple times and am probably going to be cancelling my order. This was a complete irritating experience and I don't want them to get a dime of my money. Sad because I love GAHS and I've bought from...
