Upon checking in I booked two rooms. Yet they still wanted my credit card. When I told the front desk that it was already paid for, and asking to confirm she woukdn't charge my card. She said no they just had to have it on file. Yet the next afternoon my card was charged $100 by them. I stayed the first day with no problem but I was exhausted. The next day I was running errands all day. And then I was up 3am watching the evil dead rises when I saw something grey at the side of my pillow. I turned on the night stand light to find a gray rat with beady black eyes staring at me. It ran down onto the floor. I'm laying in bed in my t-shirt and underwear and a rat is on the floor. I went ontop of the desk and ran across to get my pants and shoes and thats when I noticed movement behind the toilet. Called the front desk they wanted to come up. I said I wasn't dressed went downstairs spoke to Robert. His solution was to change rooms. But I know if a rat is bold enough to run onto a bed with a person and the tv on there's more and its their hotel. I called priceline who contacted Robert who proceeded to go all the way to the end of the hotel to speak with her. Then said he would not be returning my money. And refused to change my room. I was fatigued, tired and out 3 hundred dollars. He changed my room and said the mananger would be in at 9am. 9am came I heard back from priceline. The manager won't be returning your money. So I went downstairs to find Sarah the housekeeping supervisor at the front desk. She had pretended to be the manager on the phone with priceline. When I went to checkout at 12. Sam the actual manager was there and before I could say anything told me I was banned from the hotel. When I asked why he said nothing. Then when I told him about the rats in my room he accused me of bringing them with me. He was extremely smug, arrogant and disrespectful. As well as threatening to call the police on me. Its now 8/3/2025 My stay was 7/20/2025 to 7/22/2025 and they have still not returned/refunded the $100 they took off of my card without my knowledge for a deposit. She claimed there were signs about the deposit but there wasn't. It is now 8/18/2025 and the this hotel has not returned my deposit of $100 they took out of my bank account without authorization on 7/20/2022. When calling the hotel thia morning on 8/18/2025. I was told by Dawn at the front desk that they will be keeping my deposit for a cleaning fee. A cleaning fee in a room not slept in, bathroom not used, shower not used, linen not used, fridge not used, microwave not used. But they are stealing my money and trying to spitefully get back at me by keeping the $100 they fraudelently stole out of my bank account. Because I dared to tell the truth about rats running on a bed I was laying on and in the bathroom and on the nightstand. And keeping money I never authorized them to take for a two day stay that was...
Read moreI have been to Gettysburg countless times and have stayed at countless hotels and never have I been treated this way before. The room stunk of mold. It was in the air conditioner and under the bed frame. The smell was awful. We ended up staying for only 1 night although we prepaid months ago for 2 nights. We went to check out and were told we owed an additional $10 without questioning the charge my husband handed over his credit card. The woman behind the counter asked us if we would mind waiting because she was having a problem on our account. 45 min later my husband and I were still maintaining a pleasant attitude at this point until we were told that she charged his card an additional $143.21. And that the account was froze and she could not do anything with it. She tried getting the manager on the phone with no luck. After another 10 minutes she said she was finally able to credit the payment back. As we left the hotel, and at that point we were frustrated and wanted to complain, I asked for a return call letting me know that everything was taken care of. 10 minutes into our return trip home we received a call from the desk clerk that the general manager would be calling us back. By the following Tuesday the charge was still on his account and we had not received a call from the GM. I called to see if the charge was actually taken off and the desk clerk told me that she talked to the GM and it couldn't be refunded. I then asked to talk to the GM, Donna. She got on the phone an immediately said "first off let me tell you immediately, you will not yell and scream at me like you did to the front desk" Thank goodness my husband was on the line to hear all of this because I couldn't believe my ears. We both then began to tell her exactly what happened and she said that is not what her employee told her and that we were not telling the truth. I was amazed that this woman was saying this to us. And that she was preparing to watch the tapes to see exactly what happened to prove us wrong. I said that's great then you will be calling us back with an apology then? She then said "When you don't hear from me you should be calling me back with an apology" and then she hung up on us. I called back to ask for a District Manager and there is none. There is only the owner and he is unlisted his name is Nelish Patel. There is no company name according to the front desk. I will be calling every quality inn until I reach someone who can do something about how we...
Read moreDisappointing Experience – Below Expected Standards (Room 132) I recently stayed at this hotel for one night in Room 132, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. Upon first arrival, the hotel appeared to be a good value for the price, but once I settled into the room, several issues became evident. • Cleanliness: The room was not up to standard in terms of cleanliness. Despite being in a non-smoking hallway, there was a persistent odor of cigarettes, and the room itself had a strong, musty smell that was a mix of mold and mildew. This poor air quality had a noticeable impact on my daughter’s health, exacerbating her allergies and causing her discomfort throughout our short stay. • Comfort: The mattress was extremely firm, making it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. • Air Conditioning: The AC unit did not function properly, emitting the same mildew and moldy odor. In addition, it was quite noisy, further disturbing the comfort of the room. • Noise Levels: The noise from surrounding areas was excessive, both day and night. It was difficult to relax or sleep due to the constant disturbance. • Deposit: Despite following all check-in procedures, I have yet to receive my $100 deposit back. I feel this situation warrants attention, as the hotel should ensure the deposit is processed promptly. I will be making a formal report to the Better Business Bureau and my bank regarding the deposit issue if deposit is not promptly return. Given the issues with cleanliness, comfort, noise, and amenities in Room 132, I expected more from this establishment. The condition of the room had a direct negative impact on my daughter’s health, which is especially concerning. I would recommend that the management take immediate steps to address these concerns for future guests. I hope my review will encourage improvements and a more consistent level of service...
