Earlier today I have one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at my favorite restaurant. I went to pick up food that my husband ordered on the app and was already paid for. Jess, the server, was rude and unprofessional. She told me I could not get my order unless I knew exactly what was ordered. I said I did not have the information, as I wasn't one the who ordered. However, I did have the confirmation through email and she told me again she could not give me the order and that she had no way of telling me what was ordered. All I said was it's already paid for but Jess was not content with that. She said I need to know every detail of the order that was placed. I said I did not have information, I just know it's already paid for and name that is under. She said that she could not release the order and she had no way of finding out that information unless I knew they gave her a confirmation. That was not good enough. So after making phone calls to figure out exactly what was placed for this $100 order, I asked to speak to a manager or someone that can help defuse the situation. Jess told me that the best I was going to get was her, the owner, and I could not talk to anyone else. So then I politely asked for a refund. I didn't even want the food at this point and she told me I was going to take it. After awhile, she then tells me where it was. I grabbed my order and left. I have never been so...
Read moreMy husband loved the crab boil and it was great. Hush puppies with honey is amazing. Oysters weren't cut from the shell. Higher end places typically do then put back on the shell.
I am not a seafood fan so asked for the kids chicken nuggets in case I didn't like it and also wanting a smaller portion. I was told they would have to charge for the price of the chicken tenders which was reasonable. They brought out dry tenders instead of nuggets and way too much food.
I also ordered a drink, a dirty martini, and asked if they could make that with gin and vermouth. The waitress said she would be back and check if they could. I got a vodka with olive juice.
I asked to return it and then got to meet Jessica. She was oddly combative over a drink and gave me a run down over what makes a Martini vs Manhattan. We even googled to show her the ingredients of what typically goes in it because she didnt seem to be actively listening and was defensive. She took it off the order and offered to remake it but at that point didn't think she could.
Waitress was great, Jessica needs to take some customer service training. I do customer service myself, customer is not always right but her approach...
Read moreThe food was so good and definitely worth the money. They even have a small but good kids menu and my kids enjoyed their meals 😋 the drinks are a big size even for the kids. Our server was amazing and super friendly she gave good suggestions and even had the crew come sing happy birthday to our daughter and gave her ice cream (she wrote on a note asking me if it was ok for her to have ice cream which was a bonus) they sang to her and one of them even had a shark mask on while singing 😊 my husband and I shared the boil number 6 and there was plenty for us to let the kids try and take some home for leftovers we will definitely be back when we visit erie again 😊 the kids greatly enjoyed being able to draw with sharpie all over the table and you can write whatever you want wherever you want in the restaurant as well which was cool and made it unique (again our server even asked first if it was ok if the kids can use sharpies) 😊 Prices weren't bad at all each kids meal was about 8 bucks and the meal my husband and I shared was around 52 bucks which wasn't bad at all we definitely recommend...
