Tampa Police Museum — Attraction in Tampa

It was free admission, its a small museum but good history. I can't swim but there isn't any deep water here. There is a water fountain so that was useful. Check the schedule online to see when its open.

I wish I could say I got to see the museum. Lydia from TPD was supposed to be scheduling my group for a tour. She called me after submitting my request. She very enthusiastically claimed she would help me setup a tour then she ghosted me. What a joke. I guess they are too busy catching and firing the police chief in her golf cart to actually help citizens. If you plan on visiting this museum, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CALL FIRST. Even though it shows hours of operation are from 10am- 3pm Monday through Friday, the museum is run by volunteers. I found this out when I showed up. Doors were closed and I had to be buzzed in via intercom by the police officer at the main desk on the second floor. If the volunteers don't show up, they don't...
