Never posted a review for anything before, but I hope in doing so service may improve. I recently saw Dr. Ezeamama to establish care as a first-time Kaiser patient. I had several concerns that I needed to be seen for as well. Check-in and the nurses were great, however I was extremely disappointed with the level of care from the Dr. She came rushing in, talking a mile a minute. I was hardly able to voice my concerns (which are pressing matters and affect my daily life). She told me “I’m just an internist” and I need to see a specialist for each problem, further delaying care. She listened to my breath sounds and heartbeat and that was it. When a nurse came back I asked if anything could be done about a painful skin condition and she was shocked when I showed her what I’ve been dealing with. She was surprised Dr. Didn’t offer any help, but said she would send her a message and see if she was still in office. I was then told Dr. Had a meeting and that’s probably why she rushed through my appointment. She had prescribed meds for another condition (which cannot be abruptly stopped.) My appointment was on Friday and she still has not sent a request in for them to be filled. Needless to say, I will not be continuing...
Read moreThe only doctor my husband could sign up with was the doctor who is constantly accepting new patients at Temecula Kaiser. This doctor was rude and did not listen. My husband describes him as a doctor with a God complex. The doctor ordered a laboratory medical test that my husband had no prior knowledge of, or pre-notice of this test. We had no idea my husband had taken this medical test until we were told by the doctor. He also never looked at my husband’s diabetic foot sore. He never explained how to care for his foot. I read online how to care for his foot. The union I belong to is one of Kaiser’s biggest clients, and I pay hard earned money for this insurance. They shouldn’t keep the unavailable, NOT accepting new patients, doctors away or sequestered from patients who need them. It’s sad they cannot match doctor and patients without red tape. I have contacted medical services to change his doctor. The lady on the phone said oh this doctor isn’t accepting new patients. I said the only doctor accepting new patients is the doctor we do not want. She sent a message requesting the new doctor. I have to wait for her to call...
Read moreI have been going to Kaiser for 8 years now and basically the dr's are all just ok except for these 3.....Dr San Diego in pediatrics is AMAZING. Smart, kind, does not rush. She is the whole package. Dr Khoder for woman issues is one of the most intelligent, creative men I have ever met and then there is Dr Jay Ferns who I have seen a few times now and just love his personality, his knowledge, he actually listens and knows what the issue is. His experience truly shows through. He is not a permanent Kaiser Dr so I cant have him everytime but I sure will try. Hopefully if you are looking for any of these areas you will be lucky enough to get one of these 3. Otherwise they are just tossing a coin to see if they want you to have asthma, acid reflex or a virus. Good luck Kaiser Patients
Update...I also have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Perez as my primary now for a few years. He is supportive, attentive and always either emails or calls me back. He does not mess around with your health and I feel he does what is best for my particular situation every time. I have been extremely happy...
