Cheri Lyn Motel — Hotel in Treasure Island

Update 3/15/23: I did leave a voicemail. I could only leave 1 voicemail because your machine was full. I can tell you the exact day I left a voicemail. I also sent 2 more emails that I never received a response to. I can provide you proof of that if you would like. You guys need to join the real world and upgrade your technology. I have happily and easily booked with a hotel right down the road from you. The response from you has solidified my 1 star review.

I called and no one answered so I emailed the address they provided on their website. Initial communication through email was great. They answered all my questions. I expressed interest in booking a room for 3 nights. Since they don’t have online booking, I asked them to call me because I do not feel comfortable giving my card info out over email. I never got a reply back and no phone call. Over the course of several days, I called. No answer. I left 1 voicemail. Never received a call back. I sent another email. No reply. I sent an email inquiry through their website. No reply. I had no choice but to book other accommodations. With the plethora of options in Treasure Island and your lack of a timely response to my booking request, you lost my business. You really need to set up...

The Cheri Lyn Motel is absolutely fantastic! At first glance, it looks like a humble motel, but once you stay there, you realize what a real treasure it truly is. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and land scaping. There is a pool, outdoor tables and chairs for guests to use, on-site laundry, and there's even a communal bbq. They have games for guests, such as table tennis, mini putt, shuffle board, and corn hole. They provide clean towels on a daily basis if needed. It's in walking distance to the beach, a grocery store, and other souvenir shops and restaurants. This is my second time coming with my husband and 3 kids, and we always have fun!

Even though it is across the street from the beach, it is not a deterrent in any way! This place seems very safe. The beach is far from the road that even if you had a closer hotel, it wouldn't benefit you much because you would still have to bring all of your beach things with you.

Stayed here over New Years for three nights. Location is great - just across the street from the beach access and 1 mile walk to Johns Pass and other great restaurants. No need to drive once your here. I thought the price of $80 was great for an apartment efficiency the first night and jumped up to $96 for New Year's Eve. The third night we had to move to a smaller hotel style room but the price remained the same??? This room was updated but still smelled like a nursing home that someone had been smoking in for 50 years. The beds in both rooms were pretty worn out and uncomfortable. The AC was not working in the second room. Bathrooms are updated and plenty of hot water in the shower. The pool was relaxing and clean.

We brought the cage this trip and I don't think this would be a good place to bring a motorcycle - no secure parking. We had no problem finding a spot for our cage.
