Overall this place wasn't so bad although it had its flaws. I booked this room on hotels tonight it was about $112 , I arrived to check in around 9 PM after a full day of fun and Jenn was at the front desk to greet me. The check in process was probably the most difficult part because initially I was given a room key to somebody else's room although I realized the assigned parking spot was taken so I went back to the office where I was then informed that that room was already taken and the attendant was very sorry. I was then given a new room number and new room keys so I made my way up to 507. . . Well when I got there the room keys would not work I tried both of the room keys multiple different times in different ways and had no luck so I went back down to the front office again. At this point the attendant check the room keys and then came back up to the room with me and she also could not open the door so then she said she'll be right back and she went back to the front office. When she returned to the room she had a reset key and apparently was going to reset the lock although they didn't work at first after approximately two minutes it eventually did work. Immediately I noticed the weatherstripping on the front door was not sufficient and there was a howling wind noise. I tried pushing the door shut more although that did not work so I just dealt with that noise all night and tried to stay in the bedroom farthest away from the front door. Housekeeping inside the room was definitely lacking there was a mom found on the nice white sheets there was baby clothes and a cork along with a receipt behind the dresser. The sliding glass doors looks like somebody used a dirty rag to wipe them down there was streaks all over I did post pictures of all of this. There was also lots of small details like the rollup blinds on the main sliding glass door were falling off the wall and only one screw was left. They do give you dishwashing soap and dish washer tablets although there is no sponge in order to wash dishes probably because they want you to wash everything inside the dishwasher but in that case I'm not sure why they give you dishwashing soap and a bottle. The balconies facing the main road and all night you can hear cars they do have IMPAC windows and doors although when it's nice and quiet inside the room you hear that movement of cars all night. The next morning during the checkout process around 8 AM I informed the attendant and he seemed very not surprised. I was even told by staff that this is not new and they have been trying to tell management about issues similar to this although it seems like they are just the small fish in a big pond. I was told there was no manager or supervisor on property and the person I was speaking with was unable to make decisions in other words there was no type of compensation or any accommodations possible. After all said and done would I stay there again for the price I paid yes. Overall it was a pretty decent room for the money although I did have some check-in issues and housekeeping was definitely below par. The housekeeping issues are ones that need to be fixed because this room seems like it was vacant for a little while and I just left unattended . And on a side note there are no blackout curtains so as soon as the sun comes up more than likely you're...
Read moreStaycation turned to nightmare! Started at check-in, The front desk agent is should not only no how the facts about the property and no the logistics of their job, more importantantly the should have impeccable customer service skills or at the least be engaging, polite and smile. The female that checked me in was none of those things, As I am standing at the counter she called someone and asked if a specific room was clean. I am only assuming that the person on the other end replied, "yes" because that is the room I was checked into. When we walked into the room, the first thing I noticed is the large sliding glass doors have no window covering. As begin putting my things down, the freezerwas dirty, the top of the refrigertor, looked as if had not been wiped off in months, there tracks of both sliding glass doors were black with dirt (not sand dirt), the shower tiles along the bottom were covered with mold. I live in Florida and due to the humidity mold grows quickly, but this was not one day of mold and these are cleaning products that can be used in Florida so that mold does not grow in the bathroom. I found pillows stuffed behind a chair in the bedroom, there were only 2 pillows on a King size bed. I found a large bug in a window sill. The floor had not been swept or mopped anytime recently. I have attached a picture of the amount of lent that I removed from the dryer. Most everything I have mentioned was a cleanliness issue and unsightly, the result of being lazy and careless could of started a fire. You will also see a photo where the transition stip between the bedroom and bathroom just laying on the floor, now the guests and the property owners could have a serious safety issue. My husband imeditaly went to the office to complain a diiferent front desk agent was on duty and she said the she did not speak english, (in english) and was unable to help us. I went to the foffice before check out this very front desk agent person was not accomidating at all. I was told I had to reach out to the sister property, she would make a note. I watched her write 2 sentences. When I called the sister property there was not a manager on duty and the GM was not their either. This use to be a nice property, and the people were great. I am not sure what has happened but, I feel like i was robbed of my hard earned money, their is an expectaion standard when someone spends money especially when it is with the...
Read moreWhen we arrived to our unit, the place was filthy. Long hairs and thick dust on the tv cabinet. The couch had a huge stain on the center cushion. I turned it over and there was another stain. I also found candy wrappers under the cushions. The furniture was so dirty I requested sheets to cover the couch, love seat and chair. The floors were dirty so I had to have one of the maintenance people wash the floor of the whole unit and dust. We had very young children with us and it was upsetting they would be in this place. The door to the balcony didn’t lock. You were only given one set of towels per. person and one of our sets look like it had been used to clean. It was dirty looking and very dingy. The unit smelled when we walked in. The bathroom was dirty and had a very strange shower. The floor dipped in the center around the drain and made it hard to stand. You were given small trash cans and there were no replacement plastic bags. Not all the cycles on the clothes washer worked and the dryer’s lint catcher kept falling out into the clothes. We asked for dish washing liquid but they would not give us any. How were you supposed to hand wash things? The pool was crowded and very loud. You could hear the music on the top floor.
One of the receptionist was very nice and gave us clean towels. The other receptionist would not even look at you when you talked to her. She would not give us towels. We were very respectful when we talked to both the ladies, but there professionalism were so different from each other.
We stayed there from. 5-29-2021 to 6-4-21. The resort would be a very nice place if it was clean, units supplied with the necessities, and all the staff was helpful. The room were good sizes and the views from balcony were stunning.
We didn’t leave this place because there was nothing available. I do not understand how the reviews are so extreme one way or the other. They are good or bad. It might be that some owners care about their units and...
