Jamaican On the Gulf — Local services in Treasure Island

I've been coming here since the late 80s with family and friends and it's exactly what I love for a beach vacation. The area is laid back but there's plenty of things to do since John's Pass and several shopping malls of various types are nearby. There's a good bunch of places to eat within walking distance.

The facility is well managed and in good repair. The units are decorated adequately and fully equipped including beach towels. The pool is amazing and the views of the beach are top notch. The beach in the area has lovely sea oats and dunes for beautiful sunset shots. I often see dolphins playing in the waters in front of the condo. There is a night security guard which is a bonus. It keeps strangers out of the parking and common areas.

The penthouse could sleep 6 adults (master has a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 full size beds) and the sofa could pull out to handle several small children. The mattresses are very firm. The bathrooms are very good sized. The patios are nice and are furnished with traditional strap type chairs, and a table and some larger units have a chaise lounge.

My only suggestion is that you might bring your own sheets. I'm a self proclaimed sheet snob and the linens here are very clean but not very soft. My husband also prefers his Charmin 🤔😂 but you shouldn't need to bring any other basics.

This is a very reliable property and is a value for what you get. Yes, I admit that there could be a bit of sprucing up but it isn't anything that detracts from your vacation experience since the value and comfort...

update from one year later and a second time staying at this condo: The place is equally as amazing as me and my wife remembered. They got us checked in really fast, offered towels for the pool and room, they have a great pool and hot tub area and the best part is because they are a smaller place you never feel like you are crowded with people around you. all the pool times were pretty quiet due to the lower guest number than other bigger places and that is something we like.
