Waves Beach Bar — Restaurant in Treasure Island

Just dont. If I could give zero stars, I would. Waited over 15 minutes to even see a server. Then waited over 45 minutes for our food....which all came out at the same time....our app and our meals. The food was gross. Neither of us ate our app and I sent back my meal. The only reason my fiancee ate most of his po boy was because he was starving. The only saving grace was our waitress, Lucia. She was super sweet. I wont even get into the karaoke or the guy running it and the fact that his "singing partner" sang every 3rd singer...almost like they forgot others were there to sing, too. The final blow was when we walked out to the car and found a notice on my car saying that parking in their lot is only for people staying at the hotel, not for anyone eating at their restaurant and that my car could be towed. NOT. OK....

My partner and I came down for St. PETE PRIDE, and we had breakfast here and it's absolutely a gem! The food was amazing, the breakfast bowls were f*ing DELICIOUS, get it eggs sunny side up with gravy, mimosas on point and a damn good bloody mary. The service is amazing, our waitress, Brittany, was amazing, my partner and I were talking about bringing our kids here for our next vacation and Brittany mentioned all the amenities they offer, she SOLD us on the place, my next review about this place is going to be spectacular. Also, the fact that you can sit outside, and enjoy your meal is awesome, but did you know (Brittany informed us) that Treasure island is the only island you can take your cocktail, no glass, and walk about!! Game changer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!...

Really disappointing to read online that they serve breakfast all day and arrive 5 minutes before noon to read on their marquee that they only serve breakfast until noon. What was worse was walking in, past two signs stating they're open til 10 pm, to a crabby bartender/server who turned us away and said we could only order drinks at 11:55 AM because they weren't serving food anymore. Guess there's a good reason I havent been back to the Bilmar in 15 years, and probably won't be back for at least another 15. Will definitely stop recommending them as an establishment to all my friends and family who...
