Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware — Local services in Saint Pete Beach

Purchased 2 PVC outdoor chairs for $1,000. There was a table that matched the chairs the owner told us it cost $400 and we were not sure if it would fit in our space. After setting up the chairs we decided to go back and get the table. One of the store employees was helping us and told us the table was $500!! I asked to speak to the owner but he wouldn’t come out To speak with me. They knew we wanted the table and jacked up the cost to list price. Horrible experience. i have shopped there many many times. I had a great experience today at ace hdwr here at crowder bros. Adam a store associate said hello with a smile and asked if I needed help. I brought my mother's ceramic Christmas tree in that was made by her nearly 50 yrs ago. Like most people living near the beaches we lost our home and nearly everything in it due to flooding. The electrical switch and bulb assembly needed to be changed out. Adam took his time with me getting all the materials he needed to fix the tree. Didn’t seem to care. Asked guy at front where keys are cut. He points me to counter 30 feet away. I ring the bell…nothing. I wait and ring it again…nothing. I walk back to the guy idling at the front counter and ask if anyone is working in the key shop. He responds, yes. So I tell him that no one is answering the bell. He says, yeah, he’s with someone right now in another area. My gosh, why not tell me that from the beginning or walk a few feet and let me know when I’m standing there ringing the bell, which he could certainly hear.
