Went once with some friends, never will go again. Issue I had was the fact my friends and I were seated right next to the restroom, and our server was the bartender. He was the only bartender, serving quite a few people ordering drinks as patrons were told they could get drinks at the bar while they wait to be seated. Our drunks were rarely filled and when they were, it was because we had to ask another wait staff to help the bartender. I DO NOT blame the bartender what so ever for the horrible service. I blame everything on the lousy, rude OWNER. She was horrible and shouldn't own a business, let alone 3! All of us were so upset because we really enjoyed the food and the AYCE crab legs, which was why 2 of us chose to come here. Anyways, I asked a wait staff if they could get the manager, who ended up being the owner. They said they will tell her once they can find her. Pretty sad when this horrible owner can't be found. Well, once they did, one of the ladies ran to get her, pointed to out table from across the restaurant, and the owner WAVED HER OFF! I actually ran across the place to get her myself and when I saw her, I even yelled "Is there a reason why you won't handle our complaints?" She answers very rudely that she has an emergency to deal with across the street and she will be back to see us. When she did come back, she asked rudely "what do you want?" I told her about out horrible experience about not getting drinks in timely enough fashion as we can eat without a drink, even if it's just water. She went to blame the bartender, which I went off and told her this is HER fault as she is not helping her staff at all, ignoring patrons, and her response was they were short staffed. Well dont fill the entire house and expect a great experience from your patrons when you over work you staff you idiot! I even told her as well that the bartenser should be doing just that as he was 3 people deep all around the bar. He would make eay more tips on those buying drinks then he would with our table. We tip very well, bit it would be nothing compared to what he makes from the patrons odering drinks. We ended up getting our meals comped, which I made sure that whatever we would have paid ended up being used to tip the bartender. He deserves every bit of it. When a new owner takes over and this miserable hag is 6feet underground, I'll...
Read moreTerrible experience. Waste of time and money. Do not go here for dinner. First walked in for dinner @ 6:00 pm. The place was dead. We should of walked back out, but didn't. (Red flag). Got a bay side view outside on the patio. Only view was the establishment next door taking out their trash. (Dumpster bay view). Waiter finally came to the table as he bee bopped around the place grooving to this stupid funk music they played. He was in his own world. We ordered our meal. I ordered the 16 oz steak (medium done) $39.00 and my wife ordered the snow crab legs meal $27.00. We ate our salad which was all lettuce and one cherry tomato. (In our opinion, a garden salad consists of all vegetables from the garden). No salt n pepper shakers on the table. Had to ask for it. No water with the meal, had to ask for it. The meal finally came out after 35 minutes (there was only 8 people in the joint). The waiter brought out the meal then left. Never asked me to cut into my steak to see if it was prepared to my liking (like most 4 and 5 star restaurants do). Large chunks of fat around the edges. We got rice, potatoes and asparagus as the sides. The asparagus looked like soggy green shoe strings. The seasoned rice was flavorless and potatoes deep fried. My wife's snow crab legs were soggy and flavorless as well. Boiled and not steamed. (Only two clusters of crab). I cut directly through the center of my steak and it was seared on the outside and rare on the inside. The waiter didn't come back until I flagged him down. Told him the steak was rare and not medium done. He seemed frustrated when I asked to have it put back on the grill. Ten minutes later, it came back not much better. After dinner, as half of my steak went into my wife's crab leg shell bucket, we asked for our check. The waiter never asked us how our meal was. Not once... Not a good waiter. Not a good meal. Not a good atmosphere. Not a good restaurant/establishment. They should be ashamed of themselves giving their customers this type of poor quality and service. Dinner wasn't cheap either. Horrible evening. I was soooo embarrassed taking my wife here for dinner. DO NOT GO HERE FOR DINNER OR LUNCH. I don't know how this place was rated 4 stars. There are many other good steak n seafood restaurants around St. Pete area. Try one of...

Interior: Under previous ownership, things just didn’t work out and weren’t run smoothly. We had the chance to dine there last night and my mind was blown. Gone are the days of the gaudy and gimmicky decor of the precious oyster shucker. The look now is more refined and CLEAN! The ambiance gives me the feeling of being on a boat. The salad bar was removed and now it doesn’t seem as cluttered.
Staff: Greeted immediately from the bartender upon entering. Even though the hostess wasn’t there, we were welcomed and our presence was noted. The new owner then greeted us and sat us at our booth. Our server for the night was Joelle and she was absolutely phenomenal! As busy as it got there, her smile and bubbly personality never wavered. She stayed on top of everything for us the entire three hours we were there. Even though the food was amazing, her presence was the icing on the cake! She was our sever but all the staff took care of us. I feel like they have the mentality of all customers are theirs’ and that’s awesome customer service.
Food: Honestly, under previous ownership, I rarely ate the cuisine other than the all you can eat crab legs. We decided to be open minded about the food since it’s under new ownership. We started out with the calimari and our minds were blown ok how delicious they were. They tasted incredibly fresh! They also applied this lightly sweet drizzle or an oil on the batter that will send your taste buds into overdrive! Previously, I stayed away from the oysters but decided on some bbq oysters last night. These oysters had some savory chorizo and apples. My boyfriend absolutely hates oysters but he gobbled down over a dozen of these last night! They were to die for, in ou opinion! Now, the pièce de résistance that we really came for was the AYCE crab legs on Tuesdays. We were not disappointed in the slightest. Each batch came out hot and tasted so fresh!
We can’t wait to go again and that will...
