This is a nice store with a huge selection of merchandise for any local sports team! I love their apparel and have been to this location multiple times. However, I just went today to look at Bengals gear as itās an exciting time to be a Bengals fan. When I was checking out, the woman behind the counter said āThis stuff is driving me crazy.ā I asked her what it was and she said āAll this Bengals stuff.ā I stated it was an exciting time for the Bengals and I was excited for our team too. She stated that she was not a fan of the Bengals and I just brushed it off because I really wasnāt bothered by it. She then continued the conversation by totally bashing the Bengals and began an argument with me about how bad they were. I was in complete shock and didnāt understand why this conversation was even happening. Iām all for healthy competition and difference in opinion, but I think itās pretty ridiculous to create a legitimate argument with a customer about a team that the customer obviously supports. Iāve worked in retail and Iāve never thought to create an argument with a customer if I donāt agree on what brand theyāre buying. Itās probably not a good idea for her to work in a Sports store that supports local sports teams if she doesnāt stand behind the product. After 10 attempts to do in-store pickup on items their site said were available, I decided to see if I got the items ship would the order go through. I selected 3 Day Shipping but, their site defaulted my shipping to Standard (their error not mine). I called Customer Service telling them what happened and that I would be more than happy to pay the additional $9.99 for expedited shipping since I needed the items to be here by Christmas but, was told the only thing they could do would be to refund and reprocess my order. Being that my order was for a large amount of money and since the refund would take 3-5 days to post back to my bank (the original amount came out immediately), I asked if they could give me a credit for the original amount and then Iād reorder and pay for the shipping while I was on the phone with them (that way Iām not charged such a large amount twice). They said that wasnāt an option and that the only thing they could do was refund my order and offered up no real solutions to the problem they created.
