Abby Girl Sweets — Restaurant in Union Township

When I saw that they had an option to cut off the bottom of a cheesecake and make it into a milkshake and the rest on the top of the drink, I was sold. I am actually visiting Ohio from NJ and have spent the past couple days looking for a good cheesecake spot and haven't found one. From the moment that I came into this place, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience because their shop smelled like a sewer. I'm not sure if it was ONLY THAT particular day that they were having issues but the staff certainly didn't say anything about it, as if that was normal. But to get to the actual tasting of the food (which if it was amazing I could have overlooked the rest). My milkshake cheesecake was definitely not what was advertised. The whole cheesecake was used to make the milkshake and there wasn't anything on top besides a glob of green icing. I spoke to the staff regarding my concern and he said unfortunately the cheesecake was made incorrectly (as if that was my problem) and that I would be tasting pieces of the cheesecake throughout the milkshake. However, that was NOT what I paid for. So unfortunately this shop did NOT live up to my expectations and it's ratings. Go somewhere else!!! $4.00 for a standard baked cupcake with fancy frosting??? OUTRAGEOUS!!! Most days they are at least day old cupcakes ( those not sold become next day) Never any protective cover to prevent dryness from open air exposure No one wears protective hand covers so just watch them; one customer to another never washing their hands!!! Disgusting!!! In my opinion, dishonesty in how fresh those on display are! Planning to file for a health inspection of the facility, staff, cleanliness, license, last food safety inspection and anything else that prevents these individuals from passing disease from the lack of proper hygiene and food safety!!! Not sure what is missing there in Cincinnati but it's lacking the home cook meals and desserts, I was visiting for a few days during the beginning of the year and these cupcakes weren't good they all pretty much tasted the same, they were not as fresh and didn't taste homemade, I'm from the south baby and everything here is pretty much homemade down in dirty in the kitchen lol, Cincinnati isn't giving what I need it to give , no diversity in foods and desserts. I pray they up there game and it be different next year, because I hate leaving these types of reviews, I'm just a true southern girl and we speak the truth no matter if you don't like...
