RFP was a big ol meh from me, but my dining partner liked it. It may have to do with what we ordered. I want to get this out of the way first. When we entered there was one other family already finishing their meal. A young lady was at the far end of the counter working on something. She made eye contact, then continued her task. It was a couple more minutes before she came down to us to take our order. When she did, she didn't greet us, she just stood there waiting. More and more this is the kind of indifferent customer service to expect from places. I'm really tired of being ignored when I go to spend my money somewhere, or treated like I'm an inconvenience to someone's day. But like I said, anymore that seems to be the norm. It's tiresome, and people reading these reviews should know what to expect.
I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, which has buffalo sauce, chicken, cheese, and jalapenos. I asked for extra cheese, a small upcharge. The result was not all that inviting, but it was adequate. My wife ordered a white out pizza, with a white sauce, mozzarella, feta, and arugula, which she replaced with spinach at no charge. She gave a good report of her dish, good enough that she said she wants to try here again. They make the dough in store daily, a fact which I gleaned from a prominent help wanted sign and job description. They have Pepsi products, but no tea that I could find. There were supplies stored near the drink machine that gave the place a cluttered look. There are five big screen TVs, with innocuous content like dogs and fails. I assume there would be sports during a game time and season. I'll go back to try a more traditional style of pizza, but I have no high hopes for better service. When will businesses learn how essential it is to win customer dollars by at least acting like they are...
Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars, I would, only for the customer service. The "manager" on duty, (didnt catch her name, she was blonde and looked 12 years old) was NOT helpful at all. We are in from out of state, and ordered online for delivery at our hotel (which WAS an option online). After ordering online, I realized they hadnt asked for a delivery address. I tried calling the number listed on their website (I called FOURTEEN TIMES!!) only to hear on the other end "Beep beep...we are sorry, but the Time Warner Customer you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time, and the voicemail box is full." After checking my bank account and realizing I had already been charged for the pizza, I went to the restaurant to be told by the manager "Oh, sorry. We dont offer delivery, although our website says we do. And, I will contact the owner about the phones. What else did you want besides the pizza?" (Even though I had specifically ordered salad as well online.) "Oh, salad? Ok, we have those pre-made and ready." Nothing else. No apology. No "Im sorry you had to come here although you ordered for DELIVERY." No apology for a disconnected phone line. NOTHING. Customer service is a must in the restaurant biz, and this place sure doesnt have it. Edit: After eating said pizza and salad, still not impressed. All of the toppings fell off when eating, "Chicago style" obviously doesnt mean true Chicago style, and the lettuce was soggy in the salad. We payed for extra ranch to receive two different types: one packet of Marzetti Gluten Free and one packet of Marzetti Fat Free ranch. No plasticware or napkins. The "sausage" im assuming we ordered was more like ground beef.....like really really ground up beef. Hardly any sauce. Or cheese, although once again i paid a dollar extra and requested...
Read moreI love this place! Every time I've been it's been very good. I recommen building your own pizza, but that's just me. I would love to go on a date with someone there (hit me up) and every time I go it's very clean. Love how nice the employees are, and how fast they make the pizzas. It's only a matter of minutes before you get your pizza. 10/10 would recommend to my grandmother, let alone some idiots from the internet lol. I like the location of it. It's across from the Jungle Jim's. Every time I go to Jungle Jim's it's lit. Plus there are other food options in Eastgate if you don't like pizza. Like literally everything. I love Chick-fil-A a lot, and there is one pretty close. So if pizza ain't yo thung, go there. 10/10 would recommend. My girlfriend of two years lives in Eastgate, her, and her husband love the pizza from this place (I prefer Jimmy John's lol) and go on frequent dates. Jimmy John's is close to rapid fire, if you want a sub instead. I personally like the fact that my wife isn't mean to me whenever I forget to stop at the store, on the way home from work. She is super understanding, and she'll go out and pick up the things I "forgot" lol. We recently moved into a bigger house with more room for the kids, and they love it, when dad brings home Jimmy John's. My son Andrew, just got dumped by his girlfriend of 2 weeks, but I was able to cheer him up with some Jimmy John's... I'm thinking about maybe getting a pool, but I'm not sure how much I'd actually use it. What do you friends think? Anyway I would recommend Jimmy John's to anyone. Even my boss (who I hate!!!) Because I think everyone should be able to enjoy one of the best...
