DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I AWAKENED TO A BED BUG CRAWLING ON MY BED BY MY FACE IN ROOM 103. Our first room on the 8th floor balcony had sitting water from the air conditioner with mold and dirty water just standing there and had a funny odor. They moved us. Second room 103, we wanted to relax on the patio but it was riddled with trash right in front so I went and asked for gloves and garbage bags so our view can be totally clean without any litter in front and cleaned up. We enjoyed the beautiful view because I made our space comfortable and litter free because obviously Seaview is obviously fine with litter in front of their patio and common grounds. I believe in God and my Angels. I was awakened out of no where and I get it in when I sleep. I sleep straight through the night, in a deep sleep, snoring, all that. I jumped up out of my sleep to find a bedbug crawling by my face. Nothing but My God and My Angels that woke me up just in time. I woke up my cousin, we went to the front desk and the overnight gentleman moved us to another room. They moved us to the 3rd floor, 3 big garage bags was beside the garage can right in front of the elevator. The 3rd floor stunk from the garbage bags surrounding it and the heat. Get inside our room, there an empty coffee creamer cup on my chair on the balcony. That was overlooked was well as everything else that was bad in that hotel. They claimed to get an exterminator in 103 but housekeeping made the beds later that morning so I doubt if they put that room out of service. Our hearts are so BLESSED as we came in contact with so many guests and was even questioned by staff and still wasn't never derogatory against anyone because we had a traumatic night. We keep a smile on our face and God in our hearts as we spent our last morning at the beach with prayer and a joyful time before checked-out. We're BLESSED not to bring any BB's home(hate saying the name). Our God Blessed us for not being nasty about the whole situation. The indoor garage had standing water, which should be totally dry. The glass out looking to the ocean was dirty, it doesn't take nothin but glass cleaner and a towel elbow grease to fix that, that wasn't done. The young gentleman who was cleaning the pool area, had his pants hanging down his behind, absolutely unprofessional. Holly and the overnight gentleman(wish I remembered his name)was very pleasant and helpful. YOU WANT TO CHARGE $200 A NIGHT, THEN GIVE US THE SERVICE THAT WE DESERVE AND PAY FOR 😤

We were very disappointed in this property, a staff member, and the lack of service. We came at check-in time to find only one person working the very cluttered front desk area, which was also fueled by portable air conditioners that did not blow out cold air. The property is very old and dated. From the lobby, to the one elevator, to the rusty paint chipped door frames leading to and from the access doors leading to the garage, to the murkry looking water in the ittybitty pool…this place was a disappointment. We never received any maid service. When I called to the front desk to ask why our room wasn’t cleaned, we were informed because we did not ask for to be cleaned. So I asked for it to be cleaned. The young lady at the front desk told me the maids were all gone. I later came down to get some washcloths. No one was at the front desk at all. That same young lady, with a not so pleasant attitude was eating her dinner in an adjoining room to the front desk area. She did go to retrieve me wash cloths, only to come back with hand towels. When I told her that I wanted wash cloths, her response was these are wash clothes. I’m in my 60s. I know the difference between a washcloth and a hand towel. She went back-and-forth with me a good four times to tell me that the hand towels were wash cloths. I told her go get me the square cloths. She finally brought back four wash cloths. After she handed them to me, I said, thank you, she did not respond at all. Our room...nice view, nice balcony, thick dust on the scratch and dent mini fridge. The garage was spooky! Parking went to about the 4th floor. There were (3) very small dresser drawers that the microwave was resting on...We stayed in an upper level room. We had to through the rustiest framed doors to then gain access to the ONLY elevator in the building to get to our room. There was no air conditioning in the hallways. The water in the indoor pool looked thick and murky and was extremely small. We documented our stay with photos. PROS: Great location...excellent oceanview...quiet...rooms were average...gentleman was friendly at check-in. CONS: customer service...hot lobby...rude female worker at front desk...creepy garage...no AC in hallways...one elevator...no room service...thick dust on top of mini fridge.

The front desk was Amazing, Irvin and Mykia were so hospitable, pleasant and going above and beyond to make sure service was great and we had everything we needed-Thank you!. Even the maintenance guy Carter was sweet enough fix my daughter’s Beats headphones (which saved me from having to buy new ones) Thank you! The Lobby was so Beautiful, cozy, clean and smells soooo good. The location is spot on because there are clubs, restaurants and stores nearby! Last but not least, OF COURSE THE BEACH AND ITS AMAZING VIEWS (speaks for itself), the clean rooms and the balcony views allow a relaxing and serene vacation! The sound of the waves 🌊 were true ambience & on nights that were warmer-we left the balcony door open to fall asleep to the sound. We happen to come down on a family emergency but truly-I CANT WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN THIS SUMMER!!!!!

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. I'd give negative stars if I could. I'll give some positive feedback first. The Seaview hotel is in a nice location, and my room had a balcony with an ocean view as well as the beach. The staff is friendly. 3-4 different staff members came to my room and tried to fix my toilet, and finally one of them, I can't remember the guy's name he actually came up and replaced a part and got it working again. Imagine going through all of that while staying at a hotel on vacations starting on day one! There were complimentary drinks and coffee in the lobby area.

The hotel is old and falling apart on the inside. There is a stale odor and wet floors throughout the hotel and elevator. I understand that we are on the beach, but they should have a staff to make sure floors are dry and clean. I stayed there for 3 days, and did not see anyone cleaning or collecting towels, etc.

The hallways are creepy, dingy and dirty. The trash on my floor was not emptied for the entire time that I was there, and the trash can was dirty, falling apart and rusty. There were flies flying around it. No one ever cleaned my room, emptied my trash or bothered to bring me fresh towels. I had been communicating with people at the front desk about my bathroom, and I didnt want to complicate things further by complaining about trash pick up.

My room smelled stale and not fresh and clean. The paint on the bathroom walls is chipping and coming off. Little fixtures in the bathroom are either rusting out or falling off the walls. The walls are dirty. My toilet didn't work for the first 1.5 days of my 3 day stay, I was told to use the bathroom in the lobby (I paid over $1k to stay here for the 4th of July) and I was told to use the bathroom downstairs. Can you imagine how frustrating that was? I was scared to eat or drink anything due to lack of working toilet in my room. I am also a woman who was going through "that time of the month". It was extremely inconvenient and painful for me to have to go all the down to the lobby at all hours of the night just to use the toilet.

The beds were typical regular size beds with old brown, stained bed linen. The sheets were probably washed, but still had stains. The TV is small, outdated with an old dirty and sticky remote. The buttons on the remote are dirty. Issue could be solved if the staff would clean their rooms properly on a daily or at least weekly basis. The ironing board is dirty stained and also rusty. I was scared to iron clothes on it.

The balcony had a nice view and there were chairs out there, however the sliding door to go on the balcony was old, rusty and you had to have incredible strength to open it, and close it back. The door would get stuck if you open in too wide (like how you're actually supposed to use it).

Oh, and last but not certainly not least, I should have stated this first, but there are bugs in that room. I counted at least 4 dead bugs in my room and bathroom.

This hotel ruined my vacation, and it was over priced. It should be illegal for them to charge those prices for such a horrible experience. I feel upset, scammed and disappointed in this entire experience. I'll never forget this awful experience. If could afford to do so, I would have left and booked a hotel room somewhere else the same night that I arrived. I just don't have it like that. So I had to tough it out as best as I could, while trying to enjoy the fact that I was on vacation.

I booked this room via hotels dot com, and there were good reviews and high ratings. There is no way that any "real" guest rated the hotel anything higher than a 3/10 with good remarks. I'm willing to bet people were paid to say nice things and give a 10/10 review, or they must know the owners personally.

I felt that I had to leave this review so that I can hopefully save someone else the agony of spending their hard earned money to stay in this dirty, dingy,...

This hotel should be labeled as a motel. The photos are deceiving and we will not be staying again. If you are spending your money to stay a few days on vacation, utilize it elsewhere. We booked through AirBnB and added an additional day with Expedia, staying a total of 4 days.

Below is my experiences:

During our stay, the toilet clogged. The older gentlemen handling the front desk stated there was no maintenance on-site. I suggested the idea we use a plunger and he requested I come down and get the plunger. The downstairs “girls” bathroom had two “out of order” signs on the doors. There seems to be a building issue with plumbing. We had to go downstairs, get the plunger out of this room that was gross and prayed it worked. This caused me undue stress. Additionally, we asked for our towels to be restocked, trash removed, a quick vacuum and sheets changed. They do not complete this without requesting. If this is a hotel, it should be done daily in the rooms while people are out and about. Housekeeping is only on-site for a short amount of time during the day and they do not go above and beyond. We had a time scheduled for 1pm and they came at 12pm while we were still in the room. I had to explain the expectations we laid out at the front desk for timing.

Amenities are supposed to create ease, but it was more work on the customers end. We did pay for a “resort” fee, I would not consider this to be a resort. Also, we utilized a dolly, but ours had a flat tire! We saw rats outside close by jumping around in the bushes. There was no breakfast, but I wouldn’t want to eat there anyway. The same french fry was in the elevator for most of our 4 day stay. I didn’t see anyone in the pool, but I observed it to be dirty and I would not swim in it.

We tried to add a day to our stay. It was more expensive to go through the hotel, so she suggested a booking site. Terrible idea, the site auto placed the date and getting it changed minutes after booking was a nightmare and the advertised rate was deceptive. I should have triple checked the date, but the site would not let me change the date minutes after I recognized my mistake. They were going to charge us a $159 cancellation fee via Expedia. They needed to get a waiver to change the date. At this point, it was so much stress/money to just add a day, we wanted to cancel - but were trapped by the system and policies in place, which led us staying and paying more money than we expected too.

The beach was great and we loved being close to that. However, we ate at a restaurant close to the “Hotel” and there was a fight. It escalated to the point where police were called. This became scary to me, where I felt unsafe and brought my food inside. This is close to the clubs on the strip and felt like we were staying in a “trap house”. I would proceed with extreme caution if you have children staying here.

Lastly, there is no central air and we had a house air conditioner in the room. This kept the room temperature uncomfortable and unevenly distributed through the room.

I hope this helps with anyone’s decision making when choosing their stay! Did not take photos, due to not wanting to have them because of the conditions. I regret not taking any to add...

After booking two rooms and getting there late, we were unable to get adjoining rooms. However, they accommodated us by giving us both rooms on the same floor. There is nothing special about the rooms, but they are clean, which is what matters most. Throughout our stay, the staff was fantastic; they offered us adjoining rooms the following day, but my mom had already settled in, so I declined.

As far as the rooms go, my biggest complaint is based on personal preference- they have cool lighting (which doesn't go with anything and I just find offensive to the eyes, especially when paired with grey walls.. Eek) I bought warm lightbulbs to use during our stay - problem solved- and again personal preference not a deal breaker.

The balcony has two chairs, and the view is amazing. We watched the sunrise from the balcony with my daughter, and it was breathtaking. The building could use some maintenance; there were drops of water here and there (in the hallway and lobby - not in the rooms) probably from heavy rains. The pool was on the smaller side and the water was clean but also cold. For some reason they couldn’t make it warmer. My mom was satisfied with the pool temperature, my daughter was okay after swimming in it, and I was cold so I'll chalk that up to personal preference. The back of the hotel leads right to the boardwalk and the beach which ia really convinient- so thats a plus.

The garage is tight and low, but we were able to drive in and out without issue- just drove slowly. Our Toyota Sequoia has a small rack installed on the top, so there is enough clearance. I think the clearance in the garage is 6’10” if I recall correctly. I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with the parking situation in this hotel. I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area and the parking situation was not great- if the onsite parking was full you had to park off site across the street. There are four levels of parking at this hotel, and you can access the hotel from any of them (floors 1-4). The hotel has 10 floors in total.

Staff members are friendly and helpful. In addition to being very accommodating with my elderly mother, they were also very sweet in general. We cut a cake for my daughter’s birthday and I forgot matches- they went out of their way to find matches and my kid got to blow out candles in her cake on her birthday at midnight.

Although they do not serve breakfast, they do have a cold beverage machine which serves lemonade, strawberry kiwi, etc., and a hot beverage machine which makes coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, cappuccino, chocolate or vanilla cappuccino, etc. Both are available 24 hours a day in the lobby. I am particular about my coffee and alway travel with my own coffee maker- I used my personal coffee maker less in this trip- their coffee machine in the lobby is really good. ☺️

Overall, the hotel is affordable and clean. It could use some upgrades, but they make up for it with their excellent service and location. Staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, and amazing. They were all great, from the front desk to the housekeeper. The stay was relaxing and I'd definitely...
