I came across this this ice cream shop called Cream la Dream while in Norfolk, VA. This place is located right off the Atlantic strip, which is walking distance from the beach. They offer Instagram-worthy concoctions such as: a verity of ice-cream flavors, uniquely made milkshakes, and decadent ice cream sandwiches made of cookies, waffles, donuts or brownies.
The Milkshake: 🤤🤤🤤
They called this the Cookies n Cream, but I’m going to call it Art in a Jar….lol…. It is cookies and cream ice cream topped with pieces of white chocolate, huge oreo cookies, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. I really enjoyed this. It looks just like it taste……Amazing!
The Ice cream Sandwiches: 🍨🍦🍧
I decided to try the brownie sandwich. With this, you can pick whatever ice cream you want in the middle. I asked for coconut ice cream, but she gave me cookies n cream instead. Although she made a mistake, I was still very impressed. The brownie has an intense rich flavor of chocolate, very moist, and a gooey center that’s similar to Godiva Truffles.
Overall, this place is certainly deserving of at least a B+ rating. Lol in taking off major points because I really wanted to try that coconut ice cream, but I’ll be back and will try it then..
Restaurant Rating: 89 out 100% (B+)

Read moreHighly disappointed in this place. We had high hopes based on the pictures but did not get the experience we had hoped for. I got the salted caramel milkshake, which did not include all the toppings as advertised. They put in so much milk into the milkshake and not enough ice cream that all I tasted was milk and no ice cream flavor. This also made the texture too thin. There was a biscoff cookie and mini crunch bar on top. The edge had chocolate frosting around it with pretzels stuck onto it. I didn't taste any caramel anywhere in the mix. My husband got the brownie frappuccino milkshake, which again, only tasted like milk because there was way too much milk and not enough ice cream, so there was no coffee flavor. His toppings were better, there was a whole brownie on top and brownie stuck around the edges with frosting. However, it was again missing toppings that they advertised on the sign. Finished it in a few minutes and still felt hungry afterwards. The man putting together our milkshakes didn't add to the experience at all either. He turned his back to us and didn't let us watch him make it and didn't chat with us at all, other than to tell us they were out of the Reese's milkshake. This poor experience for $15 EACH for a total $34.50 bill. Do not recommend, do not waste your...
Read moreFirst time at this establishment. None of the employees were wearing masks, the shop was dirty, the lights kept going off, and the manager was rude to her employees. The manager was doing nothing to enforce covid regulations. An employee was asked why no one was wearing a mask and replied "I'm sorry" with no other explanation. A customer that got over looked in line asked the manager for assistance and instead of helping her herself she yelled at her staff to help and informed them how a line works. Also witnessed an employee scratch the back of his neck and than continue making a pineapple smoothie without changing gloves. No social distancing was happening. The soft serve machine was not working. The ice cream was ok but not worth the wait or unclealiness of the establishment. The churros were not cooked thoroughly. The menu may look cute but the establishment did not meet that expectation. Very...
