I would give zero stars if i could. What we dealt with was absolutely ridiculous. I can't comment on the food since we didn't get a chance to eat or even get a glass of water when it was 90° out. We waited about 15 mins for a table. ( not bad at all) but that's when it got out of control. The hostess don't seem like they have any idea what's going on. All the servers are clueless. My fiance and I were sat at a table outside. We waited 17 minutes at our table, and not a SINGLE person came by to ask us for a drink or even acknowledge us. After waiting the 17 minutes I said something to the hostess, who just looked at me like she was absolutely clueless. Then I asked one of the waitresses going by if someone could come to our table. She looked at me in the face and just kept walking didn't even acknowledge me. At this point it was 25 minutes of sitting at a table without anyone coming by to even take a drink order. Mind you it was almost 90° and we were very hot and would love to have had some water. After I talked with the hostess AND a waitress about us just sitting there, it came to my attention that nobody there gives a crap, or pays attention. I honestly was mind-blown by the fact that we got sat at a table and waited 25 minutes before we walked out. It doesn't matter how busy or not busy a restaurant is, if you're sitting someone for food and nobody goes to the table obviously there is a severe lack of communication going on. I hope the manager reads this and fixes this problem for other people. Because we will never return. Thanks for the...
Read moreIt's an after party place where the workers get done work on the pier and act wild and treat their workers like trash, it seems. You got the pinto bean manager that can't walk right with his tails between his legs following one waitress around doing her work while my server was frustrated needing help. She claimed she didn't get train right. This was Saturday, memorial day weekend. The bartender manager was very ARROGANT whispering to our server that he's not going to make something because he's "busy". The professional way is to approach the customers and be honest. Not make the server feel so small and dumb. HE IS MEAN. I notice that it's all family that works there. There's not enough knowledge for those servers to learn, not even on the wine Smoked bourbon tasted low shelf. Im not surprised workers have quit. I offered that poor server a better job! and was disappointed to find out that it was owned by Morey's and how surprisingly it was too see that side of them. I guess money makes you blind and cheap. The steak tasted like it was a $1.00. And unprofessional seeing the bartender making out with a server. It's a strip club at this point! And there's no gluten free stuff or vegetarian safe stuff since I was told everything is basically touching the other food. I'm sure this is the 5th new management. I miss the original JG. This place is rancid. Wont be surprised if they don't come back in a few summers. Over priced drinks. Bolero is cheaper and has actual...
Read moreThere's something magical about stumbling into a place that just gets it. Jersey Girl Kitchen in Wildwood is that kind of place—where the service is attentive without hovering, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and even your furry friend is greeted with a water bowl and a tail wag. 🐾 We grabbed a spot on the spacious patio and were instantly impressed—not only by the friendly staff but by a menu that was just right. Not overwhelming, but full of solid, creative choices. We started with the feta and watermelon salad (yes, please!)—a perfect balance of sweet and tangy with just the right amount of dressing. Then came the crispy pork belly which, honestly, felt like a revelation. But it only got better from there: the blackened shrimp tacos were the best we’ve ever had, and the chicken Milanese was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. And just when we thought we were done? We were blown away by dessert. The limoncello cheesecake and churros were the cherry on top—light, decadent, and unforgettable. What we loved most: the portions are thoughtful—generous enough to satisfy, but not overdone. Every bite was fresh, craveable, and worth every forkful. Bottom line: Jersey Girl Kitchen is a must-visit in Wildwood. Come hungry, bring your pup, and be ready to...
