First impression about this place was good but, after seeing Russian menu, and that such luxury "Italian" restaurant has no English menu, or menu with pictures or at least QR code is disappointing. My fiancé who speaks only English had a lot difficulties while ordering. We spent 20 minutes to translate, and understand what ingredients behind of such "Outstanding" names. As for waiter he also doesn't know English, and has no any idea about meals and ingredients. If such place named itself "Italian" then this restaurant should follow foreign standards, and train their personal. As for prizes, they are high enough, and seems not reasonable. The only thing waiter suggested were high prized meals. It seemed that he was taught before that, if someone asks which meal is good, he should point exactly to expensive ones. Meals are not tasty as other Italian restaurants in Tashkent. As for wine, it was good. However, all wines around 80$ are not available, even though they were in menu, and waiter immediately recommended expensive one, which is around 100$. Personally, I will not visit this place again, or recommend...

The manager Mr. Edgar, and the staff are very...
Read morePortofino managed by Edgar is a warm and cozy place for a business meeting or a family meeting. I went there for a business meeting and the way Edgar understood the need to service was beyond imagination. It is top class. The selection of wine was amazing, the hot bread with truffle butter unbeatable. The food was good and then a surprise assorted dessert on the house !! Can only expect in Tashkent. I am sure I will do my business meetings in Portofino only going forward in Tashkent!...
