Even though the room was clean and in the central area but I have to return the room after the first night because: DONT BOOK THE BALCONY ROOM. It’s would be super noisy as the hotel is on the bar street. I can still hear the noisy sound with my earplugs. I can not imagine that in the morning when I check-in, it’s totally sound-proof. The homestay has no elevator and I have to climb to the 4th floor, which wasn’t the highest floor. And I have to take off my shoes to go to my room 🤨 It’s a narrow and busy row, it’s difficult to take a taxi. You have to walk 100m to get on a taxi. Besides, it’s the nightmare to take the taxi at night because of the crowded bar street, most of the roads around the homestay are stuck. I have to say I don’t like the bar street, It’s a place to have fun not to stay cause it doesn’t feel safe. The homestay didn’t offer me towels and didn’t want to return the deposit because they believe that I took it. They treated me like the thief with an attitude and asked me to wait without any explanation. After they found out it was their fault by not providing the towels, they blamed it was our fault for not telling them that we have no towels 🤨 Anyways, it was super drama, the staffs are not nice and no apologies for...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions for 1 night each time, and I had 2 very different experiences. (We did 1 night before and after Ha Giang Loop).
On first night we stayed in the standard double room at the back of the hotel which was the cheapest available room - it was very nice and clean with a full shower area which was separate to the toilet. It was quiet despite being close to beer street, and the curtains kept the room dark in the morning. I would rate this night 5*.
On our return to the hotel, we decided to upgrade to the Queen room with balcony for extra money. This room was disappointing as the room itself felt smaller and cramped, and the bathroom was a tiny wet room where you couldn’t use the mirror without closing the door behind you. The room was extremely loud due to beer street until 3am - we asked if we could move to a room at the back but there was none available. In the morning the curtains did not keep any of the light out so it was bright by 7am - so we couldn’t sleep in after being kept...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hanoi's Lane Homestay for a four-day trip, and I must say it was a delightful experience overall. From the moment I stepped foot in the homestay until the end of my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction.
Upon check-in, the front desk staff greeted me warmly and efficiently processed my reservation. They were knowledgeable about the homestay's facilities and amenities, providing a comprehensive overview of what was available during my stay. Moreover, the check-in process was swift and hassle-free, allowing me to settle into my room promptly.
Speaking of the room, it was beautifully appointed and exuded a sense of luxury and modernity. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the space. The bed was plush, which made for a restful night's sleep, and the room was thoughtfully equipped with all...
