Hanoi Blues Bar _ Tạ Hiện — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Almost an hour back we came back from blues bar with utmost disappointment as everything was horrible. We went to blues bar as it’s been highly rated but I think these are bought reviews. In the whole buzzing street “blues bar” was completely empty with just one table occupied but we still went ahead trusting the reviews and ordered 3 dishes. All of them were really bad and we noticed that the server was getting the food from some distant local stall as their own chef wasn’t available. We wouldn’t have mind it had the taste been fresh and good. Chicken was super chewy. Wonder how can one go wrong with French fries as they were soggy and tasteless. Cherry on the cake was Vietnamese worldwide famous dish BAHN MI which again they ruined it to the core. Got it super cold not baked and awful presentation.alcohol was highly priced in comparison to other bars with stone throw distance. So far we have had real good food in Vietnam but BLUES BAR RUINED...

The most homophobic bar I have ever encountered! It felt like being back in the 1900s. Video included of one of the bar staff after a literal hate crime occured!! The worst bar I have ever visited. I have been travelling for 5 years and this is genuinely the most hateful bar I have ever experienced. Someone called someone I met in this bar a very offensive slur and we were met with comments that presumed that I had made it up. We were yelled at by an aggressive member of staff for suggesting that this was occurring. He then proceeded to tell us that we came in the bar and “changed the music” (we never requested a music change so this was very clearly a dig. This bar led us to be kicked out over the slur that was thrown even though the situation was explained thoroughly. I am extremely angry at the bar’s reaction to a hate crime and slurs occurring...

FRAUD STAFF !!! BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR MONEY & THE BILL.

Two very fraud incidents happened with us : 1.We ordered 1 shisha & they charged us for two shishas . We gave extra 350k dong on the bill as we didn’t have change while settling the bill and waited for almost 1 hour to get our change back . But after an hour staff lied to us that they returned the change to us which NEVER HAPPENED. We asked them to show us the camera for which they behaved in a very rude & unpleasant manner….. in turn ripping us of the money & even spoiling our mood & night .

BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD FROM THE STAFF IN THE BAR .
